  1. Get Watts and Garland forward pronto
  2. Cannot judge him yet surely
  3. Watts in and to the forward line- playing him in defence is like playing Neitz in defence - a big white flag. Get whoever are the fastest players we have at Casey in. Speed is a massive deficiency currently. Evans stood out at times yesteray simply because he is quick
  4. It starts with our transition defence which provides the backline little support. The lack of pressure and inability to mark the dangerous targets through the midfield enables the ball to come into the defensive zone frequently and with minimal pressure. I would be interested to hear from those who go to training whether they have seen the drills being run which address this and how they have worked.
  5. Cannot be true sorry, as many people on here say, Bailey only coached us to be attacking and ignored defence. The irony
  6. 6 - N. Jones 5 - Viney 4 - M. Jones 3 - Sylvia 2 - T Mac 1 - Terlich
  7. Holding off the ball and in the marking contest is a point of focus in everygame I see. so players need to adjust. BTW Garland had the free paid against him because he was looking at the player and not the ball. Annoying but correct.
  8. I think the lesson learn't from our past 6 years is the draft is not the silver bullet. Do not ever want a priority pick (handout) again
  9. Great to have Ox, Neitz etc back, just need defined roles otherwise you risk a lack of role clarity.
  10. I see it this way. No gameplan matters if you are being beaten in the clearances as much as we have. Makes me wonder why we still have so few inside mids on the list currently.
  11. Maybe because a key host is the father of the captain?
  12. I clap, only because I never know if another opportunity to clap will come during the actual game
  13. Great idea, changing your environment is according to some the first step in changing your beliefs, which drive your thoughts and ultimately your actions. The guys were so shot after the game I applaud trying something different.

  15. We know the record of clubs playing under a new coach is good, I wonder what it is for a new CEO
  16. Shame so few got to see on of Craig Ellis's only games for the Dees
  17. Change was absolutely needed, however there are many ways to achieve it and I have personally witnessed a number of organisations have the right ideas, but jump in too quickly to achieve it. I would think the question is worth asking!
  18. To get the topic back on track - Neeld did say last week it is an angry club at the moment - not surprised by this
