  1. Probably in the wrong thread, but I agree with this. Stats insider is a website that allows good graphical comparisons between players. This is the chart for Jordon vs Brayshaw (admittedly playing two different positions this year). It shows my view that Brayshaw much stronger in the rebounds and contested marks, and Jordon in clearances and inside 50's (same same for contested possessions) - i.e. defensive vs offensive focus. I reckon last year Brayshaw in Jordon's role was just as strong in these defensive stats and controlling the fat side of the ground which is why he's now back in defence. I'd agree we'd be a better team with him back on the wing.
  2. If there's any question about his lack of professionalism, which I don't think there is, then you wouldn't pick him to play next week.
  3. 100 points to 7 after half time would be handy
  4. Do you live with your ex wife? That must make it difficult on so many levels.
  5. Not everyone gets sarcasm
  6. Their pressure was excellent and we didnโ€™t have a plan to counter. I do hope the club seeks clarification on the non free kick to May in the 3rd Qtr when Hawkins tackled him without looking at the ball, preventing Nay from competing for the ball. From the ensuing bounce, Hawkins kicks a goal. Total [censored].
  7. If weโ€™re within 6 goals at 3QT, weโ€™ve got this
  8. First vs second at a venue with a capacity of 21,000, playing in the dark. The AFL is a disgrace. Ripping game of footy though. Loved Tracs goal.
  9. I could go a coconut rough right now. Go dees.
  10. I'm too busy actually watching the game to post.
  11. Tell us what you really thinkโ€ฆ.
  12. Agreed. I was out for lunch yesterday with a couple of Carlton supporting mates, who were baffled by the level of my delight when asked about Clarry's 7 year deal.
  13. Was Adam Cerra out of contract last year when he found his way to Carlton? May be some parallels with Freo placing a high value on him which is why he didn't end up coming to us. If it was the case he was out of contract, then clearly the destination clubs still find a way to satisfy the current club to ensure the deal happens.
  14. Mate, I'm not VB. I'm Melbourne Bitter. pun fully intended.
  15. That game was a case in point where coaches opine that the free kick count is not a factor in winning or losing the game. But as a fan itโ€™s impossible to agree with this. Yes itโ€™s a hard game to umpire, but it should be consistent and fair.
  16. Donโ€™t drop the banner pole on any of the players WCW!
  17. Your heart beats true Ken, you should be fine. Get well soon and enjoy the game
  18. The Orient Express picket?
  19. My dad called me a bastard once. I told him that was a bigger insult to him than me.
  20. You're all class, Claz.
  21. I never had that problem with Allen Jakovich. He's a forward and I reckon somewhat comes with the territory.
  22. I've read this whole thread to see if anyone identified the difference between one end of the football and the other. They both look the same to me?
  23. I resemble that remark.
  24. Maybe our boys come out galvanised and focussed in enemy territory and play closer to a 4 quarter game, whereas at the G on a cold day with a small crowd our boys donโ€™t get the same level of motivation. I think the Optus vs MCG comparison shows a difference in performance is not related to the size of the ground.
