  1. I’m actually glass half full on that one. Again tipping the hat to JT
  2. Clever tactic from Goody - bamboozle Yze by putting Disco in the forward line. Think you know us? Think again.
  3. 2 weeks ago Eagles pushing for a priority pick. Reid steps up, now id say this is off the table. Wondering what the future looks like if he does a knee. Unreal how one 19 year old can put the team in his back.
  4. Goody will have to contend with every other coach using this game as a blueprint to beat us. Win it in the guts and off you go.
  5. Towball umpire 15 to the bush leagues next week
  6. Show some fight for a bloke playing his first game FFS
  7. Agree we’ve been [censored], but I’m ready to jump the fence and deck one of these useless umpires. * violence apparently doesn’t solve anything. I might find out later.
  8. I’m guessing more. We passed a doggies supporter coming up the path from Richmond station. Must be having PTSD related flashbacks
  9. Plenty of room to find a seat, support loudly to what should be a cracker. Especially if we belt them. Come on down!
  10. I’m with @Binmans PA on our young debutant - no pressure; see ball, get ball. Everyone makes mistakes. Soak it up. As an example, Petts didn’t have the greatest of debut’s, it wasn’t the end of the world and he’s a ripper. Celebrate the good things that come your way - all the hours of slogging your guts out until now are for this moment.
  11. take it to the bank if it came from Dannyz
  12. Alan Johnson. Good times*. Just a ripper player with the ball. Loving the comparisons. *(except 87 prelim and 88 granny)
  13. As long as it’s a football action and not head high, all good
  14. Injury report update from Selwyn Griffiths. Lachie Hunter played match sim v Carlton 2's last week with no issues. Marty Hore looking to be back for Richmond game. I presume Smacca the same given the same expected return timing listed and previous advice from trackwatchers at training. Clarry not listed. Presume he plays.
  15. This is the latest free kick count after Round 4 below. Interesting to see if the umpires this week (a) reward Melbourne given it's a home game, with the noise of affirmation from our noisy supporters or (b) try to square up the ledger with Brisbane being rock bottom. We obviously took a hiding from last week's free kick differential count (-12).
  16. If the AFL were serious about handing out weeks' suspensions based on potential, then Fogarty from Carlton should have got considerably more than 1 week. He could have caused significant damage to Fyfe. Completely agree with your comment on consistency.
  17. It's up there with "go number 4" Except he smashes it with his "Jakeyyy Leverrr"
  18. SMH. Keep up the great work guys. Love the podcast. um’s included.
  19. I was hoping they’d give us some to img about last year’s come from behind win. I’m sure they’d be as gutted as I was delighted 😁
  20. I agree dc. The AFL don’t want to include an escalation category for potential on “ugly” looking incidents, as they’d have to explain their thinking and it’s easier to hide behind a classification of medium impact. Medium, despite the fact the Adelaide player showed no ill effects. Let’s sort this out once and for all. Trying to retrofit potential into a results based classification system is a joke.
  21. Good luck with the new house hambo- any luck you’ll get it and not have to fix the wall
  22. Don’t disagree PSD, however the medium impact finding is based on the potential to inflict a higher level of injury than that actually sustained. For last years Bailey Smith bump, and Maynards hit on Brayshaw, these were more likely occurrences to inflict higher levels of damage due to the two trajectories of the two players involved. I don’t think this example could have incurred a higher level of injury to the Adelaide player. But yes, I’m arguing a nuance when we want to eradicate the action, so he’ll go.
