Farewell Jesse Hogan
I think Melbourne have looked after Jesse admirably. I think Jesse respected that honourably. He will be missed. He was my boy's favourite player. But for the sake of his wellbeing, I hope he finds balance in his life home in Perth and a happy career at Freo. I'll still cheer for you when you next front up at the G to receive a bath from the 2019 premiers. All the best.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - STEVEN MAY
Simon Goodwin needs to write a book, so I can learn first hand from the master. What an effing legend. BTW - welcome to the club Mr May. You've carried yourself beautifully through this period and I can't wait to see you contribute to what will be the meanest defence in the league coupled with the highest scoring forward line. I'm changing my username to Big Kev. I'm excited.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
I've got a mate in AFL Media - he was 100% convinced last year that Jesse was off. Seems to me they've recycled the same story again.

Maybe I should ring Jason Taylor then. I'm all of those things and much cheaper than losing Jesse Hogan.

Hope he gets a goodbye game and win in the VFL grannie. You’ve been terrific Bern. Probably the only bloke in 160 years to shear a sheep at the G

So if he gets 36 possies dc he’ll have averaged 30 a game in the last two seasons. I think.- Sam Weideman

We’ve just come straight off ‘Member F••• you round’. Almost bipolar.- VALE JARROD LYLE
Jarrod wore a Luek the duck emblem and yellow hat on the tour after his last comeback to bring attention/valuable fundraising to the cause. Given Jarrod is a big dees fan, I’d really like to see the team wear a yellow arm band on the field of dreams round as a show of support.- Goodwin Presser (28/6)
It’s not actually Goodys fault - it’s mine ive been to the Cats, Tigers, Pies losses. Thought I’d go along to hear the song today. Left when the Saints went 20 pts up in the last with 4 mind to play, our guys decide then it’s time to try to win it and kick 3 late goals and nearly pinch it. Ive learned my lesson, won’t be going again this year. I can’t take the umpiring anymore either.- New CEO - Gary Pert
The flag might have helped those numbers a bit (tigers, anyone?)- New CEO - Gary Pert
I agree with the sentiment that the decision on Pert will have involved a process of his impressing the board with his vision for the club moving forward - how to improve revenues (aligned with club direction on no pokies), higher memberships, his experience on building a state of the art training base (with social facilities). Having a seasoned professional who's seen it all from the perspective of taking a club from 38,000 members to 75,000 will have more upside than downside. If, however, he re-introduces Whiteboard Wednesday, I'll spew and firebomb Glen Bartlett's car myself.- Jordan De Goey
I hope he responds in the third person.- Site Issues?
