1) I would suggest that Port have a more dangerous array of tall attacking options than WB. Our backline clicked last week and Fitz was one of our stronger talls. Since when do we select by horses for courses? You select your best team to play and win the match on your terms. 2) Viney and Jetta were deemed fit to play. 3) Newton is slow and Riley is even slower. If you think they would have been the difference yesterday, you are mistaken. We would have been sliced and diced by Port's runners with even more devastating effect.

Very true. There has been huge improvements in the last 18 months but it's hard to see that with the injuries and draw we've had for the last month. We've played two teams outside of the top 8 this year- and beaten them both.

If it makes you feel any better Jarrad Grant went one pick after Morton and Robbie Tarrant one pick after Grimes. Some big busts in that first round.

To get someone of the calibre of Shiel or even Kelly, GWS would want Tom McDonald. Tall defenders are the only weakness in their list.

On weight of numbers and form at Casey, Riley looks ready to step back into the seniors. Unfortunately though he adds none of the pace that we so desperately need! We're really missing Kent and Frost's dash and may have to keep Bail in the team.

I don't disagree entirely. I do see SOMETHING there though. I'd like to see one more year on the list - he has zero trade value anyway. (Not to mention there's still two thirds of this year remaining)

The comment was that 'fad diets' have no place in professional, elite sport. There are however many examples where special 'fad' diets have very positive effects on elite sports men and women.

So essentially, Neale Daniher's request for the 'toughest player in the draft' in 2001. We overlooked quite a few skinny, talented blokes for Luke Molan.

But that is the example of how inflexible rules on drafting a 'type' of player just doesn't work. Drafting is very, very hard.

Probably just a very visible example of why Roos wanted Lamumba at the club. Have only heard very positive comments about his leadership and encouragement from the players this year.
