How i wish there was a 'dislike' button. Poor form to call a loyal servant of our club that. You have no idea how important he is to our team right now.12 points

Was typing quickly on my phone If you don't like it don't read it rather than being a [censored] and adding nothing to the topic Tim Smith, when I asked him, said yes to him playing on Monday JKH was also training, but didn't get the opportunity to speak to him From team last week Kent, Weideman and Bugg were not training Hogan looks primed to repay, outstanding session from him11 points

Me "Bull, are you in on Monday?" Bull "Yes" Also Club may have circumvented this with early call, but Hibberd left the track early with a TV cameraman following him halfway to AAMI.park, nothing in it 'Highlights' from training Nathan Jones and Clarry continually niggling each other during the drills, fun to watch Nev Jetta beating Hogan in a one on one with what seemed to a nice nudge with the foreman, Hogan loudly proclaiming it was hands and being shouted down, much to everybody's amusement And Hogan sliding on his knees in the wet towards the fence and at the very last millisecond putting his hands up and grabbing the fence, there were a few minor heart attacks amongst players, coaches and watchers. He casually got back to his feet Hibberd's left foot Some of the ball movement at speed in the wet, hardly a missed target by hand of foot9 points

Yeah, I too find it hard to believe all these people who claim innocence and blame others yet don't reveal the records or any other info that might clear them. Dank, the Weapon, Bomber, Hird, the players etc. Can't have it both ways. BOMBER, IF YOU ARE INNOCENT THEN SHOW US WHAT YOU'VE GOT, ALL OF IT, OTHERWISE CRAWL BACK INTO YOUR HOLE AND SHUT UP!7 points

The dees should be fined 10k for giving up pick 25 for Melksham........ That's the real abuse of gambling here.7 points

Who gave Carlton a Friday night game? what a disgrace.... ...not only that they've made a mockery of it by resting players.5 points

This was a perfect opportunity for ch7 to bring forward Monday nights episode of MKR.5 points

How were Maclure and Eddie complaining about the white Carlton jumpers pre-game? They said that Carlton shouldn't have to change jumpers and that the home side Port, given Carlton's 150 year history, should have to wear an alternate strip. The sheer arrogance gives me the absolute shits. Melbourne is the original club and we don't crap on about all this rubbish. Collingwood have been irrelevant ever since Malthouse's last season and Carlton have been a basketcase for years now. These clubs should realise no one gives a [censored] about what they did years ago. They're bog ordinary nowadays.5 points

This whole thing is such a joke: it is not a 'supplements saga'. It is a systematic doping saga. there are so many complicit, guilty fools trying to spin the story for their own benefit, it is painful If there is 'truth' here, someone release the evidence that supports it. Otherwise sit down, shut up and hang the sign with 'drug cheat' around your neck and suck it up. I can't wait for these idiots to descend into a bun fight to protect their individual legacies where the truth will actually come out. stupid, club, stupid people. The current 'returning heroes' rhetoric sticks in my craw.5 points

To be fair we are lamenting recruiting Melksham because he's not a very good player.5 points

Step away from the exclamation-key Picket and take a deep breath. I'll walk you through it. Martin is in blistering form, and, as you say, is 'a bloke that breaks lines and provides inspiration.' Seems strange that an opposition fan wouldn't be at least a little bit worried about him then, right? But even stranger then that the fan has reported a sense of concern only after that player has come under an injury cloud in the build-up. There seems to be some strange reversal of expectations going on. The next step is to challenge your neural connections to conceptually work out an explanation for this apparent anomaly. Something like; in the past, when a star player has been under an injury cloud in the build-up to a game against Melbourne, that player has tended to come out and tear Melbourne what is colloquially referred to a 'new one'. Nick Riewoldt may repeatedly spring to mind. Then you can deduce that the poster was being sardonic in reference to Melbourne's past, perhaps as a coping mechanism. Finally, if you can determine certain patterns in a poster's history, their 'schtick' if you will, such as multiple exclamation points and a tag-line like sheeeeit for example, you can be reasonably confident in your assessment of a post and know whether to take it seriously or not.5 points

Nah mate, not me. I also pass a few vehicles with MFC rego plates or membership stickers on the rear window. I usually just apply the small MFC member sticker to the rear of my vehicle. The rest of the stickers that come in the membership pack I save up and strategically place on my mates cars and wait to see how long it takes them to notice. You might've spotted one of my Freo mates car. ?4 points

Kent needs to stay in the side. He has leg speed that we desperately need, especially against the smaller, quick players that the Tiges are fielding at the moment. His X factor around the forward line is important too, and he's done more than enough to warrant a spot in the side.4 points

i told you before.....don't call me shirley anyway, totally agree........unless the kent bit is a disciplinary thing4 points

He's averaging 14 possessions, 4 marks, 20 hitouts and 0.5 goals a game this year. Spencer in his one game has 13 possessions, 4 marks, 15 hitouts and 2 goals a game. If you think these differentials require us tagging him, then you've been sucked in by the Richmond hype train.4 points

I'm not sure it does 'steve'... The numbers say we are playing a high possession game. Any team that plays that game style struggles in the wet. Hope it's dry.4 points

Howe is playing at Collingwood exactly as he did at Melbourne in 2015. His lack of defensive accountability is shocking and beyond being an intercept marker he is shockingly shallow. Not a "dumb" footballer and makes some smart decisions, but I think his personality was shown the door more than anything, not so much his skillset. I never took him for being much of a "team player".4 points

Had no idea one of the old CGS boys was a coach at Richmond. Great little video though. Our website would struggle to put together a video that was as exciting about us as that. Haha.3 points

All I know is that I pay over seven hundred bloody dollars for my MCC membership and I still have to pay $10 to guarantee me a seat on Level 1 this week. It's a disgrace. In case it hasn't been said anywhere, I know a couple of people that work in the MCC and they're expecting 80,000 at Monday's game, so get your tickets now while you can.3 points
