Bailey seems to prefer the Sandy route which makes a lot of sense, however, I rate Bate as an immediate in when fit... which places him head and shoulders above Sylvia IMO

Bit worried about Petterd.

Hopefully he is not sitting on the sidelines because of more lung problems.

Do we know what is wrong with him?

It seems he was dropped after round 1, then hasn't played for Sandy, but i haven't heard about an injury to him.

I totally agree, bate gives some energy in the melbourne players on the feild when performing. he can lift the side and should definantly be on feild playing when fit to play.

I reckon its probably a little lack of fitness for Rick. Sure he has has a preseason but would not have had too much physical contact. Didnt show too much in the NAB games and probably just isnt match fit! Needs a few runs at Sandy I reckon. He`ll be back though! I would not risk bring Bater in after 5 or so weeks out with a hammy. Madness! the jump from just training to match tempo just might twang it again. Not worth the risk this early!Be great to have both these guys 100% fit, big boost !

I might hupothesise here..

seems obvious Ricky isnt quite up to scratch..despite initial appearances.

If his situtaion was more seeious you would think he'd go straight to th Long Term Injury list ??

possibly requires more conditioning.

Sightings at training ??

Youd expect the Master to appear with Zebs first.

Im pretty certain Bailey isn't playing Petterd because he didn't warrant selection, lets face it he was a big let down in round 1, he had friends but he was pretty poor. He is still so young and will need a fair bit of time to be re-introduced to footy. Just give him time, I don't want him slammed back into the 22 anyway.

Bate will either get a game for the Dees this week or will have one week at Sandy expect to see him this Saturday for Melbourne, or the Sunday after.

What is the deal with these two?

Are they injured still?

Will they be brought back through Sandy?

Disappointing that Bate gets a minor hammy and is out so far for 5 weeks. Petterd and Moloney are obviously carrying injuries.

    Demonland Trackwatcher Gator attended training out at Casey Fields to bring you the following observations from Preseason Training. GATOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS There were 5 in the main rehab group, namely Gawn, Petracca, Fullarton, Woewodin and Lever.  Laurie was running laps by himself, as was Jefferson.  Chandler, as has been reported, had his arm in a sling.  Lindsay did a bit of lap running later on.     TRAINING: Wednesday 15th January 2025

    There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks.     A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session.
