They should be able to help you out with this. They will likely give you a paper ticket to scan your daughter in. Because it’s our away game, membership queries can be made at the little portable situated between gates 3 & 4.

@Longsufferingnomore would know more about this than I do but I’m sure the staff in the portable will sort it for you.

Your daughter wants to go to the footy for the first time in a while? Well this MUST happen! We need those little Dees onboard… they’re our future.

Thanks for your help, @Ghostwriter.

I think we’ve got them covered. They’re an under pressure club for many reason, need to hit the scoreboard early.

Recent history has had some very close games, expecting similar today. Blues may have some issues above the shoulders at times but seemingly not agsinst the Dees. Its anyones game but I will say Baggers by 7 points.

About time we ended this losing streak.

JVR to kick 5 on that dud Lewis Young and Langford to return to form with a 25+ game and a goal.

Very glad King didn’t drop him after what was a poor start to the season.

Reckon we will win if we play with the same dare we did against the Saints. Carlton have some good inside mids, Weitering, McKay if he feels like it and that’s about it, be disappointing if we lose to them (again!)

You know I have a huge soft spot for the Blues, but I’ll be quite happy to see us kick you guys into the middle of next week. 😁

Sorry to hijack this thread with membership stuff. I got an MCC/MFC Premium membership and for the first time in a while, my daughter wants to go to the footy. As part of this membership I believe you get three free MCC guest passes as well as a full child's membership.

I'm wondering what the best and easiest way for us to get into the ground is today.

I think I've made a mistake in not contacting the club to set up my daughter's membership (I assumed it was automatic, but now realise I can't find details of her membership anywhere). I imagine I can go and talk to Membership at the ground before the day, but will that get me anything that will allow my daughter entry into the ground today?

I was thinking just spending one of the MCC free guest passes might be the way to go but because today is a Category 2 game, does that make it difficult or impossible?

This was all a bit easier when she was under 6. Now it's more complicated than I realised.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Its been a few years since I took up the 3 game membership option so things might have changed.

On the MFC app you can access tickets and choose to activate one of your 3 games. It should connect to your Ticketek account and automatically generate a bar code for your daughter to use.

Tigers should have comfortably beaten the blues if Lynch didn’t kick 2.7.

Tigers have been smashed otherwise

We have to win this and win well

Blues have few fwd threats so we can double team Mackay.

Roo and Kozzi to go nuts and Windsor to be best on. Demons by 46

It’s a sunny Sunday afternoon on the sacred turf of the ‘G. The AFL in its infinite wisdom have put its faith in the Ancient Order of Demons to proselytise Australian Rules sabbath +1. It’s preordained in the 2026 edition of the Fixture rites. We are the holy rollers.

So let’s get on the same page of the Sunday hymnal and fervently sing “Closer to Thee a Grand Old Flag”, lead by faithful servants Senior pastors Max Gawn and Tom MacDonald. Drive away the Blues (devils) and give courage to the MFCSS doubters.

I still find it hard to believe anyone has a soft spot for the Blues.

There are some guys that aren't playing for Carlton today who have gotten hold of us previously.

Saad for instance has always locked down on Pickett and always gives them drive off half back, Good out for us.

No Cerra means midfield depth of Carlton takes a hit.

Mior kicked 4 last time we played and right now he is playing VFL.

Blake Acres is an emergency and we know what hes done to us previously..

It’s a long story. Two decades long, to be exact. I masqueraded as a Blues supporter for 20 years because I couldn’t break my older brother’s heart which was navy blue to the core. When he passed away I came out as a Dees fan. To this day I tear up when I hear the Carlton anthem, which is why I’ve asked not to be on banner crew today. Not a good look for a Dees squadder to be crying during the opposition’s song. 😁

Probably no surprise but I’m hella confident we’ll win today, and win convincingly.

Carlton is experiencing a collective mindset of loserism (yes I made that word up). Remember… 10% physical and 90% mental. It’s above the neck where the power lies.

The mighty [censored] Dees by debutant Paddy Cross - 41 points ❤️💙

good my little sheet rack lets go dees

For those with kiddies, remember its free GA entry today (under 14) and children's author Andy Lee is reading from his books at 2pm today (outside Gate 3). There should be some kids activities outside pre-game.

@binman said we will win. Therefore, we will win.

In Binman we trust!

Thanks @Big Col. Yes, I was hoping I might be able to do it throught the app. At the moment, I seem only to be able to log into Ticketmaster and when I do there is a single adult GA ticket available, presumably for me if I decided not to enter via the MCC.

I'll talk to a membership person at the ground and see how I go.

In two minds whether to attend this one, every time I go to these games we end up losing and it isn't enjoyable, but we could win..

I'm in 2 minds too. Probably means i'm in 4 minds then.

I've just had a browse through the Carltank line-up. They've only got seven blokes that can play. If we can't beat this mob then . . .
