I am absolutely loving the socials from the club this year.

Haven't been this engaged, connected and this informed ever.

Reminds me of Liverpool's game day social short videos which go for roughly the same amount of time.

Don't want to blow to much smoke up their rear ends but Smithy and Guerra have been electric since they have jumped on board with their messaging, club initiatives and direction.

👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

Have to agree. It doesn't just start at the top, if that leadership isn't focused and clear, you're always going to be pushing it uphill with everything else.

The marketing department has had very few fails this year.. extremely impressive

This is so important.

Engaged, connected, informed.

Such a basic concept but up to last year, one we had failed at miserably. Our comms were awful, our attempts lacking, and the connection and engagement from the member base was dwindling.

So happy to see the club care about this, and for us as members to be buying back in.

100%.

I've been very critical of all aspects of the clubs comms, including the fan engagement stuff.

All aspects has massively improved, on particular the fan engagement content.

This video is a terrific example- I watched it last night.

Super entertaining, really well edited, exciting and also fascinating and insightful.

I loved the bits with King talking to the team, and the movie clip with Farell going off spliced in afger a reference from King (which to be honest i didnt get - but the players obviously did given their laugter) was genuinely funny.

I also loved the edit of the game itself, with included all the goals.

Terrific stuff all round.

One thing eally jumped out to me from King's half time speech. He said something along the lines that we don't need champions to win the game we need you each to do it.

I'm perhaps reading too much into it, but that felt quite a pointed comment and reference about Claz and Tracc.

Great to see the social media stuff being a focus this year as a fan.

We haven't been treated to this much quality content since Ben Gibson left at the end of 2022

Agree. And as much as I liked Benny's stuff the current content is higher quality.

It’s been so informative, entertaining and humorous certainly keeping us all connected. I watched it this morning with my grandson (I pick them up on We’d & Fri and drop them off to school) he loved it as much as I did, I love what Kingy is bringing to the club. Well done MFC, keep it coming.

I really hope they look into the demon store, last year i went down to Melbourne with a Carlton mate, we went to the Blues store first and he picked out some things for himself and his kids, then we went to the demon store, the difference in what was sold for Blues supporters compared to Demons was damning.

Fingers crossed we can get some more options i.e. golf shirts, jumpers, jackets etc.

as an aside i saw the great man at the footy sunday. dees

Kingy just seems like the sorta coach youd run through brick walls for.

Funny too! Love the Will Ferrell reference.

A good sense of humour is so underrated as it makes it a fun environment and creates good vibes.

It's always easier when you win. But the above and then something shorter and a bit off-the-wall like this:

And then creating some buzz and build up for Jim's Game in Round 6 and actually doing it IN ADVANCE rather than just the week before, giving some time for the word to spread and people to lock it in on their calendar...

it's good stuff.
