Do they really need the music tonight?

It’s weird and jarring

Thredgold looks good in the air

Bit underwhelmed by Emmett

The young lad picked up by North sounds like a really nice kid.

Stop it PF!!! He’s our boy now. Let’s get behind him.

Yes Ghosty, I WAS out of line apologies to all. Carryst Jeckyl and Hyde are nothing on me.

No. I wanted Allen.

Richmond played the game well this year to see if they could get us or the Bombers to move up and grab a player while given them an extra pick and they still would have got player they wanted.

Them picking Grlj threw Cals phantom out the window.

I wonder did we do something similar by seeming to cool on Pickett while talking up Nairm.

Also talked up our want/need for mids and didn’t take one.

Perhaps JT did played the game a bit more than usual this year.

Same

Tom matthews, called this out last week. Talented small forward that missed lots of footy with a pcl injury. Kid has speed and can take a high mark.

Left field? Greeves, Philiopou and Hibbens Hargraves available and going this route seems an interesting choice?

Ah well, from dawn to dusk In JT we trust.

Who ever called a Tim Lamb special of a no photo draft you’re a legend 😆

But I feel like we had a midfield steal at this pick and we didn’t take it.

  • PREVIEW: Essendon

Not long ago, the narrative surrounding Melbourne was steeped in pessimism. There was some concern among the pundits (and even some fans) that the club would arrive at the AFL’s Gather Round still winless, vulnerable to a familiar adversary in the Essendon Football Club, and facing significant scrutiny from an ever-critical media on a national stage. Things have changed.

  • REPORT: Gold Coast

Steven King astutely identified the issues that had plagued the Melbourne Football Club over the past two and a half seasons when he auditioned for the newly created coaching role. The side that had claimed the 2021 premiership had become stodgy, slow-paced, and hesitant to take the initiative.
