Yes only Collingwood once. Ugh a lot of Sunday games. Annoying when I work every 2nd Sunday.

Is there any chance we could play Adelaide at home at some point.

Gee only play gws once.

Did the afl not learn anything when we played west coast at marvel, give us an Adelaide , Brisbane or Sydney to play there.

Cut the whinging at least we’re not playing the Lions, Geelong and Collingwood (a team that we’ve been mentally beaten by before the game even starts for years). I think it’s a favourable draw in terms off who we play. I’m calling it now that we’ll be playing in wildcard weekend this year.

6 of the top 8 teams are non Vic.

The bias towards Vic teams is crazy

As much fun as seeing the Blues getting flogged is, it doesn’t make for a good spectacle

The double ups look tough on paper but it's a futile exercise judging now as some of those good teams from 2025 could flop next year.

For once our interstate trips are spread quite evenly throughout the year (round 2, 5, 8, 12, 15, 17, 20, 23)

Play Twice:

Essendon, Bulldogs, Gold Coast, Richmond, Hawthorn, Fremantle

Gees that’s a tough draw for a bottom 6 team

4 top 9 teams twice

Fixture looks fine to me - plenty of Saturday & Sunday afternoon games and 5 away games in Melbourne.

We shouldn't fear any of the teams we are playing twice. Of course we'll get smoked if we're rubbish again, but the coach and president don't believe we will be.

We can't expect to be playing in marquee time slots when we've played terrible football for two years. Sure there is a different rule for Carlton and Essendon, but we should just focus on getting our own house in order.

So Jack steele up against his old team r1. I'm sure he'd be happy to get that out of the way.

I cannot believe we didn't get shipped down to Geelong

that's not [censored] fair

Love it.

No lions at the gabba, no cats at Kardinia Park, Pies once, one trip to perth, cats once.

Some trcicky games for cats at home, eg Lions.

Upside (or downside depending on your view) more watching ABC tele and netflix/SBS in prime time as I refuse to watch Pies, Blues and bombers and they have the market share.

Reasonable number on Ch7 as I don't kave Kayo. (and never will)

Fantastic we don’t play at Geelong!

The double ups are tough but none of the best teams are part of them at least. No crows, lions, swans

Lots of day sat and sunday games!

4-6 wins next year. Bottom 3 finish. What I want to see though is buy in from the players on a new game plan and to be competitive in every game. No blow outs.

Essendon Home game at the G.... I think the last one was 1868 and we all wore onions on our belts which was the style back then 😁

Really... huh... I think I might have been in Europe then.

Oh well, don't let the truth get in the way of a good Simpsons quote.

Double ups

1 teams from top 6

3 from middle 6

2 from bottom 6

i thought the 3 teams could only be from the group you finished in?

weird

If we do play Hawthorn in Launceston will round 17 at least be before they stop announcing the time & date of games so we caan actually book flights and accommodation in advance?

That would be awesome, right? But it ain’t gonna happen. We’ll be on our knees at the mercy of the airlines and again I’ll be living on 2-minute noodles for a while. I’ve run outta body parts to sell on the black market. 😁

Isn't it 2, 2, 2? Hawks and GC top 6 after finals?

it [censored] me that the club doesnt fight for 10 home games at the MCG each year.

We were fixtured 10 MCG home games between 2021 and 2024. Not sure why all of a sudden we have to play a home game at Marvel, while Richmond get 10 themselves at the G.

Maybe if we got rid of the Alice springs game we’d get 10 games at the G.
