  1. 1. Mason Cox has been cut by Collingwood. Should we pick him up as Delisted Free Agent?

He got Aussie citizenship in 2022, Pauline

One would think that playing for Collingwood would have failed the character test for citizenship.

Tom Cruise What GIF

Yes from me, a better bloke then Oliver and Petracca.

A baby puke version of this thread would see a lot of distance, a lot of colour, and a lot of premium carpet in the splatter zone.

Are you suggesting that the long room floor would be covered in Chris Mew?

i reckon he would be a great get

Yeah we occasionally have a snapped pole when raising the banner. He could be a backup 😅

Don't need him but a west coast could use him for a ruckman/forward

A bonus to that would be that he would be as far away from Melbourne as possible.

I hope Essendscum pick him up.

They have so far devoted 84 posts on him over at Bomberblitz, so where there is smoke… 🤣

There doesn't appear to be any support for the notion of MFC picking up Mason Cox.

Fake news. I demand a recount.

Don’t need him, if we couldn’t fit Grundy in who’s 10x better we can’t fit Cox in.

On field gives me the [censored], probably traumatised from 2023 when he sat 30m out from goal in our fwd line and we hit him on the chest about 6 times.

Off-field his recent views on Dayne Zorko have me warming to him.

Of course there isn’t; you didn’t include a “Yes” option 😅

I know he is now an Australian citizen but i thought before becoming Australian he was an American.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
