So we would be giving up, Petracca and McVee for one single pick at say 3 and maybe a second rounder back (going by GC wanting Trac and pick 24 or whatever we have)

Still far from a Tim Lamb quoted headturner.

For the sake of argument let's say that's a poor deal for tracc yet the club is willing to take it.

What does that say about what our new coach and Football Department thinks about tracc in terms of what he brings to the club in totality - ie on field performance and off field contribution (eg leadership, role modelling, culture building etc)?

FWIW Sammy Edmund just said Bailey will keep trying until the end of the window (still highly unlikely).

Whar dows that about what our new coach and Football Department thinks about tracc in terms of what he brings to the club in totality - ie on field performance and off field contribution (eg leadership, role modelling, culture building etc).

I think the club would hope with the fresh start, new coach, new standards, more attacking play style etc that Trac would buy in and produce his best again.

Or it could say we’re just not very good at negotiating.

Yo Yo GIF

My emotions in this thread.

I am heading back home today so I’ll be off line for over 3 hours, might be good for my sanity, although I will drive past the Moe off ramp again…

Well there goes my day, I’ve got my son working with me , trying to teach him a good work ethic. Not sure trade week was the best week to start that. 😩🤦🏽

Congratulations Demonland posters! 125 pages written about a player who hasn't asked for a trade and who hasn't expressed any interest in coming to Melbourne.

I'm sure you can get this baby up to 300 if he actually does one or both of those things.

I see what you did there 😏

Won't get done. He'll wind up at Collingwood or Hawthorn next off season.

You're not doing this right Lord Travis. You need to embrace the delusion and go with the flow

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
