I reckon if one of the stronger Vic clubs had the currency to satisfy the Suns then Bailey would be making stronger noises publicly to come home. If he ends up staying I guarantee that come the trade period next year and the big Vic clubs have their ducks in a row they will easily be able to pry him out of GC.

I have said if BH isn’t cleared to us, it will be a culture killer for the Suns.

If it was going to happen then it would have happened by now. Players only openly request trades if they think it's likely to get done.

Listening to Morris, it is very obvious that he is getting all of his info from the Suns. The chatter of 7&8 for Trac and 24 is all framed as 'Suns will do it if they get 24 back'. It's only about what is good for the Suns. It seems that Melbourne aren't leaking, which is good because a) leaks to the media suck (our toilet blogging BBQ enthusiast aside) and b) there is still the chance that we play hard ball with Humphrey being the end target

If he was as desperate to get out of the GC and return home for personal reasons then he would have publicly requested a trade. That hasn't happened and will not happen. Dees fans need to come to terms with the picks.

IF BH wasn't still an option this trade would have already been done.

Melbourne over recent years wastes no time in getting trades completed to open options for further trades particularly around picks.
