Season 2 Agree GIF by Paramount+

Iโ€™m a YES if heโ€™s truly available

Letโ€™s get it done.

Windhager would be a massive addition to our midfield. Probably trade out Sparrow if heโ€™s added.

I have a gut feeling that Sparrow is going to be traded. As he is from SA I would keep an eye on Port

Canโ€™t believe I am reading that now, as I saw Finey yesterday and would have asked him. Have known him for years. Will try and see him today or monday and find out what he knows.

Hope he is correct though.

Wonder what we could trade for him and steak knives Heath.

Is this the massive salary cap spend coming home to roost?

I think he would be a great addition. hopefully this gets done

and great to be linked with an in demand quality player

You canโ€™t pick them up at Coles

There might be one at Woollies.

Trac might be involved in a multi club trade to get this done.

Or maybe our future first rounder for Windhager and Heath?

The last sentence makes it feel to me like his manager is playing games and trying to eek out more dollars from the saints

I wouldnโ€™t be sad, he has been really poor for a couple years now with no influence in most games.

That is true

Dees offer is 5 year contract and X $$$s

Saints had 3 year deal, then upped to 4 years but kept $$$ the same.

I think Dees offer is also more $$$s.

Saints need to rethink their offer. But they are big on spend for TDK, SILVAGNI, Ryan and ALEER plus $$$ for NWM.

Could we be maybe more Good, Different ??

Reads a bit that way .... but is it as much saying they might not have the ability ?

Does sound like a managers last ditch attempt to get the Saints to the table

With that being said, at least we're the club linked I guess!

End of the day. We have to. If we are serious about trying for finals and a flag (which I am not sure we are there yet), we need to go for these picks and more.

Itโ€™s either that or we hold onto salary, and use our future picks, which takes a lot longer.

Fingers crossed on this!

Right out of left field this one and a super get.

Do people realise now football departments can make decisions on their own before a coach like wanting May gone?

Anyone know about the intel about the trade?

I couldnโ€™t find anything online when I typed in Windhager.

This is coming only from Finey (a saints man) so no official trade request appears to have been made

interesting option to add in to our midfield

defensively-minded and strong over the ball yet not a clearance midfielder but not overly quick nor better than average by foot, i wouldn't have thought?

Does seem a rather odd announcement. In so much as Finey leaves himself wide open if this has no legs.

Am curious to as if nothing else.... the motive.

Is it to nudge Saints to ante up ๐Ÿค”๐Ÿค”๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ

In true Tim Lamb fashion I reckon he's offered Windhager 6 years to blow the Saints out of the water!

A good player thatโ€™s getting better by the game.

Comprehensively beat Kozze in the Alice game that sunk our season. We need a player to quell the oppositionโ€™s midfield star such as Ed Richards who willed the Dogs over the line against us.

Viney can do that..oh wait a minute๐Ÿค”

Does our pick 23 get this done in a trade?

Yepp.. . maybe...

But what's the gain/purpose in Fine broadcasting ??

Is he just niggled ?

It'll be Adelaide more then Port.

There midfield and lack of depth got badly exposed on Thursday night once Dawson was clamped down.

Would not be surprised if Adelaide even reach out in regards to Oliver.

They were killed in the midfield, with Dawson not great and basically no one else doing anything.

They will be desperate to boost their midfield.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Port Adelaide

The undefeated Demons venture across the continent to the spiritual home of the Port Adelaide Football Club on Saturday afternoon for the inaugural match for premiership points between these long-historied clubs. Alberton Oval will however, be a ground familiar to our players following a practice match there last year. We lost both the game and Liv Purcell, who missed 7 home and away matches after suffering facial fractures in the dying moments of the game.

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmyโ€™s inclusive bannerโ€”"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwoodโ€™s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.ย

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecastโ€”20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze โ€” expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.

  • AFLW REPORT: Collingwood

Expectations of a comfortable win for Narrm at Victoria Park quickly evaporated as the match turned into a tense nail-biter. After a confident start by the Demons, the Pies piled on pressure and forced red and blue supporters to hold their collective breath until after the final siren. In a frenetic, physical contest, it was Captain Kateโ€™s clutch last quarter goal and a missed shot from Collingwoodโ€™s Grace Campbell after the siren which sealed a thrilling 4-point win. Finally, Narrm supporters could breathe easy.
