Just now, whatwhat say what said:

new fritsch

Fritsch is super agile and quite quick. I think Yze’s issue is that he doesn’t have the speed and he’s an awkward height.

Culley has kicked some beautiful inside 50 kicks. Kentfield and Aj have had really good games. Adams and Howes taking some strong marks just kicking letting them down. Sestan and Tholstrup having a good game too. Yze having a fantastic game.

For those without access to the scores, it's a tight game midway through the last quarter.

Williamstown 8.7.55 are leading Noah Yze 7.0.42.

When it's your day, it's your day!

VFL Legend Bailey Laurie !

One of Nathan Buckleys job is to turn Bailey Laurie into an AFL plyer.

Bill Laurie with some 21st Century night club moves for his beautiful goal.

I know people want to know if the AFL listed players are in attendance, but I want to know if anyone has eyes on Buckley? 🤣

I thought Noah nominated last year, do you only get 1 go at f/s

He did, and yes. but we can pick him up in the pre-season draft or rookie draft

Can others pick him ahead of us though?

Kolt has been tremendous today

Wonder if Whitford is in consideration to be the next midfield strategy coach. Casey has been humming all year, plays a very fun, aggressive modern game style and has the whole team motivated and energetic.

outstanding result for casey with the exception of spargo damaging his shoulder, again - he's off to hospital to get it put back in place which would make the semi-final vs frankston unlikely you'd think

20.12.132 to 8.8.56

my best 6:
6: laurie
5: campbell
4: yze
3: tholstrup
2: howes
1: cross

woewodin, adams, culley all very good too, and spargo's first quarter was electric when the game was hot

great performance

Yes

Interviewer - "Have you kicked 7 in a game before?"

Noah Yze - "I don't think so. I've kicked 10."

  • 2025 Player Reviews: #7 Jack Viney

The Demon stalwart surpassed the number of his father's appearances for the club towards the end of the season. As he approaches his thirties, his pace is inevitably slowing, and he is likely to explore alternative opportunities beyond the team's midfield.

  • 2025 Player Reviews: #8 Jake Lever

The Demon premiership defender who has the reputation the master of intercept possessions as well as great leadership qualities managed only eight senior games this season as he battled injury and form, prompting speculation that he might be enticed to look elsewhere.

“Disco” took his time (four seasons) but the mid-season draftee has been a shining light of Melbourne's campaign, improving to become a versatile option at either end of the ground. He has great marking skills which allows him to play as a marking target up forward or an intercepting defender down back.

  • 2025 Player Reviews: #11 Max Gawn

The skipper delivered another outstanding season, leading the team from the front, participating in every game, and earning club champion honours, while also securing an equal record eighth All-Australian blazer as a ruckman.  Max Gawn is arguably the greatest exponent of ruck skills in the history of the game; an exceptional leader who has guided the club to a premiership, through the challenging times that followed, and now into the next phase of its storied history.

  • 2025 Player Reviews: #12 Koltyn Tholstrup

It was a frustrating season for the former number 13 draft selection, who failed to build momentum in his second campaign; Tholstrup played only nine games, having been omitted twice and substituted out three times. However, he demonstrated promising signs in the midfield at Casey towards the end of the season, and big things are anticipated from him in the coming years.

  • 2025 Player Reviews: #13 Clayton Oliver

He is presently contracted to the club for an additional five years, with a substantial annual salary of approximately $1.7 million in the final seasons of his agreement. All at Melbourne are eagerly anticipating his resurgence to his previous peak performance levels.
