If the club has it's way - it would've been May and Oliver's last game
Hopefully not McVee's last game

Oliver? Why do you say that? He has shown his real self lately and has always put in for his team.

If he can get on the park and show some form, Shane McAdam may well take Jake’s place next season - similar mercurial player, same height, but 3 or 4 years younger and quicker and has a better leap.

That’s a very big if.

Oliver wants a fresh start

Melbourne want to recuperate some salary wasted on a bloke paid handsomely and not playing like it

A new coach not going to be enough of a fresh start? What if all the prospective coaches say they want him?

There is a reason why Adelaide was happy to see him go.

the club has the power to ensure this is the case

we'll see

if he wants to go and he club want him gone then its get done on the first day of trade period

he takes a pay cut and the club accepts whatever it gets in a trade

Who should go is anyone not fully invested in the club.

I'm a fan of May. He cops it for his passion and competitiveness, but I love him for it.

I really want to see him forward now we have key back depth. He would take the pressure off JVR, Kentiand Jeffo etc TMac can probably play another year back too.

Hearing Kynan Brown set to be delisted. West Coast have expressed some interest in him for next season.

The surprise in that is interest from WC

Well I'm sure both parties would still want acceptable terms no?

The footage circulating of Steven May’s conduct during Max’s post-match/season address in the club rooms is deeply concerning.

Absolutely juvenile and disrespectful to our captain (again). I want him gone. Thanks for your contribution buddy, but you can sod off now.

Yeah, it’s not a great look.

The way May acts is exactly what I saw from the "cool kids" in my son's under 13 team. He abuses teammates, says things without thinking, carries on like everything is someone else's fault, undermines coaches and leaders, etc.

The only reason it has been tolerated, as it was in the under 13s, is because of his football ability. Now that he is a liability on-field as well as off, it is well past time to cut him loose.

Can we hold off and package him up for a Jayden Hunt Reunion tour!?

He's exactly what North Melbourne need, and Clarko is exactly what Steven May needs! Can we get a pick?!

When Simpson said that there has been unrest among the playing group, footage like this seems to align with that - as does the yelling and even pushing between leaders on field.

Been better but not worth the money we're paying him. Also taking up a midfield spot that needs to start going to the younger players.

Next year Langford needs to be in the middle. His ball use is way too good to waste him on the wing.

Haha looking forward to seeing this do the rounds on tv tonight. May is cooked and should be moved on. If he wants to tune out, fine, but distracting a young player in a team meeting is cultural cancer.

Big deal

Not everyone gets on with their boss

i don't think it's a shooting offence

i imagine its the same talk he's been hearing all year (the same we've all heard)

must be a pattern of behaviour if someone decided to leak the footage. assume they are tired of it

One more thing

The Club should have had Maccas, KFC and coldies ready to go

There'll be enough time for speeches in the exit interviews

mfc published the footage

may is sitting relatively front-and-centre and is clearly not interested in what his captain has to say

as he's shown both on- and off-field, he's a real issue from a cultural standpoint

Seems a little storm in a tea-cup for me. End of a disastrous year, its a relatively minor infraction.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Port Adelaide

The undefeated Demons venture across the continent to the spiritual home of the Port Adelaide Football Club on Saturday afternoon for the inaugural match for premiership points between these long-historied clubs. Alberton Oval will however, be a ground familiar to our players following a practice match there last year. We lost both the game and Liv Purcell, who missed 7 home and away matches after suffering facial fractures in the dying moments of the game.

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmy’s inclusive banner—"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwood’s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecast—20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze — expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.

  • AFLW REPORT: Collingwood

Expectations of a comfortable win for Narrm at Victoria Park quickly evaporated as the match turned into a tense nail-biter. After a confident start by the Demons, the Pies piled on pressure and forced red and blue supporters to hold their collective breath until after the final siren. In a frenetic, physical contest, it was Captain Kate’s clutch last quarter goal and a missed shot from Collingwood’s Grace Campbell after the siren which sealed a thrilling 4-point win. Finally, Narrm supporters could breathe easy.
