Unfortunately the leaks are still happening. The Maysie news was leaked. Maysie doesn’t know who leaked it but he was very p’d off when he found out it was public.

Very disappointing to hear. May deserved better than that.

Lol I suspect May's manager needing to shop him round to clubs probably means the news will get out

If that was the case, wouldn’t Maysie know to expect it? Because he certainly didn’t expect it.

I have my suspicions about who is leaking, but I don’t know for sure and I can’t work out the motives.

Either way there is only one person who has remained at the club in a senior role for the last few years. If they are indeed the leak, they need to be terminated immediately.

Thats ummm... not a big list.

Agree with sentiment.

Yes, this person has been mentioned on Demonland as a potential leaker before. Is the club just ignoring all this or do we get at least another year of leaks?..

His manager would have been speaking to other clubs since his exit interview. If he didn’t expect it to get out then he is very naive.

This is a bit silly. May would’ve told plenty of people around him - friends, family and teammates. Not to mention his management are obviously across it along with lots of people from the club. Only takes one.

Journos are on top of every club’s possible comings and goings. The fact the King news came out before anyone in the media even had an inkling he was a strong contender is a good sign.

do you live next door to him do you?

Before we ring people up in the town square - his agent has been told to talk to other clubs. Perhaps it was another club that ‘leaked’ that information.

As Sam Mitchell has made plainly clear - there is no dignity left between clubs.

100% he would have. of course its going to get out, it aint a leak. to think may would be "[censored] off" is kinda funny

I can imagine. I’d be pretty angry as well if that were me.

My first thought was that it was Maysie or his manager that leaked it.

Definitely wasn’t Maysie. One would hope it wasn’t his manager.

You may well be right.

Doesn’t explain the leak about Goody’s sacking tho.

Well if you do ever chat to him, tell him some of us still rate him as a fantastic demon and individual match winner.

Given the role that Steven May plays for our club and the strength and skill that he has displayed for us over a prolonged time frame, the broken bones and concussions endured to make our defence possibly the strongest in the league. I am a bit dismayed at the lack of respect and care that he is being afforded by the press and some on this forum, the King is dead long live the king. I am finding it a bit troubling.

He knows ❤️

Oh wow, I see the regular [censored] are at it again. MASSIVE egg boy with his smart-arze comments, and his goons applauding said smart-arze comments. Gutless wonders.

@binman I’m trying so hard to take your advice but the bastards keep wearing me down. It’s exhausting.

Anyways, Maysie and I share a mutual friend. This friend is very close to Maysie. This afternoon he told me Maysie is furious because the result of his exit meeting became public knowledge and he wasn’t expecting it. Maysie said it was leaked.

That’s what happened. That’s all I know. I shouldn’t have to explain it in detail, but here we are. Again, I feel I have to justify my comments. And again, if it wasn’t for some truly beautiful souls on here I’d ditch this forum in a [censored] heartbeat.

Thank you Ghosty and you are welcome.

I am so glad that you can look beyond my beautiful exterior and see the beautiful soul that is beneath it.

  • AFLW REPORT: Port Adelaide

Well, that was a shock. The Demons 4-game unbeaten run came to a grinding halt in a tense, scrappy affair at the sunny, windy Alberton Oval, with the Power holding on for a 2-point win. The Dees had their chances—plenty of them—but couldn't convert when it mattered most. Port’s tackling pressure rattled the Dees, triggering a fumble frenzy and surprising lack of composure from seasoned players.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Port Adelaide

The undefeated Demons venture across the continent to the spiritual home of the Port Adelaide Football Club on Saturday afternoon for the inaugural match for premiership points between these long-historied clubs. Alberton Oval will however, be a ground familiar to our players following a practice match there last year. We lost both the game and Liv Purcell, who missed 7 home and away matches after suffering facial fractures in the dying moments of the game.

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmy’s inclusive banner—"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwood’s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecast—20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze — expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.
