My mail Bailey Humphrey and sam Flanders to don the red and the blue next year to replace trac and oliver. $700k salary to be paid by the dees for oliver and trac salary to be completely absorbed by the suns. Apparent meeting this weekend bailey and dees staff.

$1m for Flanders and $1m for Bailey

Effectively saving $700k from oliver and trac which is why we are willing to pay a club $700k to take oliver

Pin it. It's the intent. Whether they pull it off is another question. Think to yourself. Why would a club get rid of 2 gun players. It's about salary dumps and lining us up for 10 years

I will say no more on this

Edited by Demon Forever

I still think one or two of the following with be traded Fritsch and Lever.

Thanks for sharing DF. Will be interesting to c if it comes to fruition. Would be good if it did work out that way.

They’re twenty years behind down there, as recent (and not so recent) events have shown. There’s a time portal just there on Latrobe Terrace.

His strategy at Melbourne was to get every second player a foot injury then he fell upwards in to a promotion from fitness guy to footy admin because St Kilda had no other Ross acolytes on hand at the time.

Would be a seriously unimpressive move.

Ill mow your lawns if this comes to fruition

Well it is a rumours thread and that is a good one.

I posted yesterday that surely if we are moving star players on and we don’t love the draft this year, then the list spots were going to be filled by other players and that maybe we were into players already.

PS: I just noticed that this rumour was posted two hours after the Humphrey chase was in the media. I hope then that this rumour is not a poster just joining bits of already reported info.

I trust that you are aware of the penalties that can be meted out in the event that it turns out that this rumour has no external source, but was just [censored] that you made up. I would list them here, but I doubt that this site has an MA18+ rating.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Essendon

It’s Pink Lady night at Princes Park — a vibey Friday evening setting for a high-stakes clash between second-placed Melbourne and eleventh-placed Essendon. The wind-sheltered IKON Park, a favourite ground of the Demon players, promises flair, fire and a touch of pink. Melbourne has never lost a home-and-away game here, though the ghosts of two straight-sets finals exits in 2023 still linger.

  • 2025 Player Reviews: # 1 Steven May

The premiership defender has shown signs of wear and tear due to age, and his 2025 season was inconsistent, ending poorly with a suspension and a noticeable decline in performance. The Demons are eager to integrate younger players onto their list and have indicated that they may not be able to guarantee him senior games next season, in what would be the final year of his contract.

  • 2025 Player Reviews: # 2 Jacob van Rooyen

The young key tall failed to make progress during the season, with a decline in his goal kicking output. His secondary role as a backup ruckman, which may have hindered his ability to further develop his game, and he was also impacted by the team's poor forward connection. It will be interesting to observe his performance under a new coaching regime.

Salem proved to be a valuable contributor as a reliable and solid one-on-one medium-sized defender in what was undoubtedly his most impressive season since the premiership year. He remains a highly capable rebounding option for the Demons as he approaches his 200th game at the club.
