He is a very good set shot. Just need him to mark it more

i still reckon JVR can make it as a no 2 kpf

i just hope we don;t stuff up his devlopment

Roo's goal kicking technique should be copied by all Melbourne players

I’ve liked Turner in the backline for us so far. He shows a tenacity that Petty simply does not have.

Assume we didn't practice goal kicking this week either.

When it’s appears the overriding importance in Goodwin’s time has been on effort based contested ball and not skills, it’s a bit too late for goal kicking practice.

Jefferson is not an AFL player. Zero intensity/presence. Will be surprised if he even meets the low standards of a Weideman.

as sure as night follows day the umps will come into this game in the second half for the crows

They really had me fooled when I picked them with great confidence to beat the Bombers at Gather Round last week. I should have recognised that nothing is more quintessentially Melbourne than defeating the undefeated early premiership favourite one week and losing to a winless cellar dweller on its way to establishing a record losing streak the next.

Melbourne’s much vaunted finishing power evaporated at Adelaide Oval on Saturday afternoon, exposed for the third time in four years by its Essendon Gather Round hoodoo.
