Did we even talk to Membrey?

Not a star but plays his role well.

Agree no star but provides a target, it’s baffling how our issues with our fwd line yet never heard our club possible trades eg membrey etc

he was bog ordinary for the aints since his mental health crisis on the eve of the 2023 finals

his comeback in 2025 in a different environment has been a great story for the year

Mcstay & Membrey 2 goals each …

I don't know why we don't just pick up every player who's changing clubs. All of 'em!

Probably would if any of them would come.
But they don't.

McRae has seriously got Collingwood playing like Richmond circa 2018-2020. Just look miles ahead of anyone. Vulnerable yet intimidating at the same time. They definitely have at least 1 more flag in them. Their recruitment particular in the forward line has been sublime. And they got Dan Houston who was being handed to us on a silver platter.

Why has Mc Stay got a 16 year old on him??

Yeah, I noticed it again. Kills me each time I see him with the Pies. Come home, Nev!

getting some excellent experience to bring back 👍🏻👍🏻

Till Petracca threw a tantrum.

Jeffo and JVR would look like stars in the Collingwood fwd line

it’s all about system and entries

thank god for that i’d prefer Lindsay

we aren’t competing in the next 2-3 years and Houston just seems a good decent player so far

Agree on McCrae excellent coach

lol who was our last decent player we traded in

Liking the look of Jobe Shanahan at WC

massive kid. surprised he slipped so much in the draft

Dale Thomas with some very strange comments a few minutes ago.....did anyone catch it?

do you honestly have to raise the same point all the time?

we get it

we haven’t traded in any good players in the last few years

can we sign something to say we agree to this to stop the constant repetition?

You'll have to forgive old sad sack. Every post is either a lament, a whinge or a criticism.

the picks that became langford and lindsay and the cost of about $900k a year is a pretty tasty silver platter

the filth are very good that's for sure

  • REPORT: St. Kilda

When looking back at the disastrous end to the game, I find it a waste of time to concentrate on the final few moments when utter confusion reigned. Forget the 6-6-6 mess, the failure to mark the most dangerous man on the field, the inability to seal the game when opportunities presented themselves to Clayton Oliver, Harry Petty and Charlie Spargo, the vision of match winning players of recent weeks in Kozzy Pickett and Jake Melksham spending helpless minutes on the interchange bench and the powerlessness of seizing the opportunity to slow the tempo of the game down in those final moments.

  • CASEY: Sandringham

The Casey Demons rebounded from a sluggish start to manufacture a decisive win against Sandringham in the final showdown, culminating a quarter century of intense rivalry between the fluctuating alignments of teams affiliated with AFL clubs Melbourne and St Kilda, as the Saints and the Zebras prepare to forge independent paths in 2026. After conceding three of the first four goals of the match, the Demons went on a goal kicking rampage instigated by the winning ruck combination of Tom Campbell with 26 hitouts, 26 disposals and 13 clearances and his apprentice Will Verrall who contributed 20 hitouts. This gave first use of the ball to the likes of Jack Billings, Bayley Laurie, Riley Bonner and Koltyn Tholstrup who was impressive early. By the first break they had added seven goals and took a strong grip on the game. The Demons were well served up forward early by Mitch Hardie and, as the game progressed, Harry Sharp proved a menace with a five goal performance. Emerging young forwards Matthew Jefferson and Luker Kentfield kicked two each but the former let himself down with some poor kicking for goal.
Young draft talent Will Duursma showed the depth of his talent and looks well out of reach for Melbourne this year. Kalani White was used sparingly and had a brief but uneventful stint in the ruck.

The Demons return to the scene of the crime on Saturday to face the wooden spooners the Eagles at the Docklands. Who comes in and who goes out? Like moving deck chairs on the Titanic.
