Surely it's not YZE MAGIC.

it would have to win best interview for the year, im laughing just imagining what he would say, especially if we were getting beaten!

It would potentially be up there with Gough's spat in the mid '70's?

It would go something like this:

"What do you think about Melbourne's season?"

"We're [censored], but we'll still make finals and win the premiership"

"Who are you excited to see play this year?"

"Newton, he is the next Gary Ablett. No, scrap that, he is BETTER than Gary Ablett and Wayne Carey and Chris Judd. He is probably better than Jesus too"

"Anything else you'd like to say?"

"Yes. I would like to formally deny that I am involved in any way with Colin Sylvia. My love for him is purely based on his football ability. He is the single greatest footballer to ever walk the earth and he will probably win every Brownlow from now until he retires. He might win a couple after retirement as well"

Jaded - Crap posting. Show a bit of respect, if not decorum as Moderator.

Mockery is the lowest form of wit.

Biffinator.

Biff, I understand what you're saying, I've been critical of other mod's for doing the same thing.

Jarka – thank you for your support. I appreciate it.

Jaded, it is unacceptable when a Moderator instigates an ad hominem attack.

It was so school yard-ish, it made me cringe. All that it was missing were the monkey-bars, the tuck-shop and the pony-tails.

It also provides a context for the self-referential erudition in your own postings.

We do not want to see Demonland being overrun by behaviour where people are being mocked, or teased or bullied, however questionable some of their opinions might be. And I am sorry – this is not fun if you are on the receiving end, and all the more so in a public forum.

By all means, point out the inconsistencies in arguments – I do not have a problem with that. But since when has this been synonymous with ridiculing another human being?

He, she or it - I really don’t give a toss who you are Jaded, but you should explicitly apologise to Yze Magic for your rudeness, or else reconsider your position as a Moderator for the wider good.

I am looking forward to your response, Jaded.

Biffinator.

Hey Biff ... bit of pot calling the kettle black going on here eh? Get off your high horse. Some of this is justified. If you can give it u need to be able to take it. Theres no malice.

Yeah... I reckon we should wait until Y_M gets on to have a dip. there's a chance he may see the funny side. They are acquantences after all. If this is a long-running in-joke between the two, where's the harm?

Biff you have got to be kidding... Where is your sense of humor? Are we grumpy after a loss? What's wrong with a bit of a [censored] take nowadays!

Y_M's fair game. And Jaded's lighthearted parody was both witty and spot on the money. I'm sure Y_M would have had a laugh.

And take Jarka's support with a grain of salt, he's got his own agenda.

Wise Monkey - you are right - I am [censored] off. I could not take the ineptitude, and left at half time.

We all have our own agendas, or else we're jelly fish. I stand by my comments. I disagree respectfully that the posting in question was witty, so our senses of humour must be different. To me it was just rude, in an insipid kind of way.

I look forward to hearing from Yze Magic, and of course Jaded.

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to
