  1. No its not. An amoeba would have greater comprehension . WTF. As I said, I'll decide what I do and do not post on this forum. Anyway, what gives you the right to tell me to "answer them" Bobby? Who the hell are you anyway? Are you an Mfc official. If so, so which dept? Marketing. Strategic analysis? Maybe, just maybe, recruitment? Warm? and if you are ,which Coterie group or supporter group are you asked to have a chat or associate with at home or away games. Most of em officials do you know. & their all good value too. These groups give a shtlode to the club as any club employee would know. Wthout them this club would be dead! What about the Supporter groups? Any of them? Young corporates? New initiative and building a steady following. Redlegs perhaps. But you have to buy your own beers there? IMO no good! Presidents lunch is always good for a wine & a laugh. Maybe you Hang out @ Ralphies wall in the BCuthbert in the Olympic stand? Good company there. RU mates with Nick G. or TK or GW?? Now no lightweights there. No sir? Perhaps youve given an 'address' lately to the core front, if you know what I mean. Rubbing shoulders with MB & ANZ Pvt? Great supporters of the beloved.Hmm. I dunno. Not sure. U tell me. Are you just into pissing people off? But I fear you have little to offer lightweight? who the hell are you Laity?
  2. And neither have you ecclesiarch. & whats with the name calling? Thats low. And whats the capacity with the MFC officer. Paid or volunteer? Shall we continue?
  3. "Financially, they may think they cannot afford to bottom out for too long, but clubs should be in the business of winning flags" Well, we all learn somethin new every day......keeps your powder dry Garry. Don't overdo it now or you'll have nothing left to offer the board when they ask you who should coach our great club in 08. Ps: Bullshoy. Welcome back! How long you sticking round for this time?
  4. Dumb & predictable Rhino. The college pimple popper can't even read. Perhaps its time you enlightened the movement.
  5. Axe Bob, you've peaked with this post but wasted it because you can't read dimwit. I said, "...but for now..." you marauding invertebrate. And my question for you is why on earth do we bother having a board if they haven't a clue what this club needs. Surely the answers not with the goons who have been handed ownership of our fate. and the list of candidates make Bruce and Timmy look like footy genius. Rhino..wheres the beef? Still waiting Old. Love your work. Sounds just like one of Neale's better speeches. Keep up the good work.
  6. Well said WD. You're onto something .Results matter. & your opinions, as with Jarkas, are on the money.
  7. A reasonable request deservers a reasoned reply. I put it to anyone to justify the need to involve a cast of thousands to net one fish. But thats not half of it. But for now... Go out on a limb and chase who they believe would be the candidate which fits the criteria. The most successful clubs have had the capacity to do this without fanfare & succeed. Go through a consultancy if they must. Solicit one or two trusted figures. Cut the middlemen out. Cut the transparency. This is a business, not a Butchers shop window. What the problem with this club. Surely it can't be scared of failure.
  8. What may be right wrong time will tell. Try bringing something substantial to the table Rhino.
  9. A good blow to the guts is all it can take. I believe it was 3 weeks with an early plea for 2.
  10. Even with this 'shot to pieces by injury' list, Miller would still struggle to be listed as an emergency for a HFF. If we had an established CHF or CHB, he'd be as good as gone.
  11. Brilliant lack of ability to shake a tag & just let anyone or thing get under his skin. Davey for Goose of the week.
  12. Rhino, your complete faith in the system justifies explanation. You know I don't rate it. So what does it for you? And given this club has infinite resources, enlighten me as to how many people you think this club needs to change a lightbulb? And close but no cigar Old.... they push them out.
  13. For someone who cowtows the Mfc line regardless, your loyalty in the process and the board is unsurprisingly blinkered. A board who is pepared to relinquish all decision making accountability in favor of a consultative process of which legitimate question have been raised of its credibility and suitability. A board who has boldly positioned itself within the process to simply adjudge feedback and intern the incumbent. A board who doesn't have the backbone to back their own sole judgement. A Claytons board. The kind of board you'd love to have with you when in the trenches. This process is a farce at best. Phoney.
  14. And the boards flawed judgement is only preceeded by their unwillingness to take complete ownership of its decisions. Your foresight is tunnel visioned.
  15. Sluggish input Rhino. To hell with 'so called experts' offering tuppence. If the board can't manage & deliver on critical football matters then what good are they. If they continually pass the parcel, just who exactly who has the supporter entrusted to run this club. Outsourcing is expensive & all too often non engaging and generic in output. Overrated. More often than not, businesses empower their own to make the hard call. Why has the board positioned responsibility elsewhere. Master Bub, its time for the board to bite the bullet and go after who they believe is right for the job. Time to move on.
  16. Its all about preparation and by its nature is symbolic.
  17. It doesn't require much reading between the lines to come up with the answer to your question.
  18. Try rhetoric. So will the Rhesus Revivalist's rewiring of responsibility revolutionize and catapult a reversal of fortune after 40 odd years of revulsion. Or will we all sit here in '09 and reverie the review & revoke any knowledge of what we acccepted as reverend. Only Father time will tell. Am I right?
  19. Not quite. Try re-reading my previous post. I simply advocate the common sense plan. All else is nonsesnse. If what I have said all along doesn't cut your jib, so be it. And its the members who can make a difference.
  20. How this club thinks it can earn the respect from opposition clubs has got me beat . Stand up & take note they will, but for all the wrong reasons. Inspiring stuff for we members and sponsors alike Someone should change the title of this thread to Wallace & Grommits "The Wrong Trousers". Luckily for Wallace, he has a dog to mind over his numbing stupidity. This club doesn't have anything that comes close.
  21. Feel no shame with consensus driven opinion. But the brain can make a difference. To hell before thy bleat to the same beat. If people can make a difference then why not contribute....Lest the weary stagnate & rot.
  22. Rubbish. You have obviously been sucked in by the process the club wishes to employ. On a previous post reasoned my view for all the outsourcing. No one should have any more intimate knowledge of what this club needs than the current board. If they wish to solicit advice, keep it tight. I question the need to trawl. They've had just on a decade to make an informed assessment. As leaders go, the current board doubt themselves.
  23. You blindly support the 'Mfc process' (read 'the confusion') you suggest has no specific idea of what its supposed to deliver.
  24. Why were at it, why don't we find a few more so called experts and throw more even more opinion in the mix. And perhaps even Bev for the final soft, feminine touch. Does the myriad of outsourcing of opinion in any way indicate that we really know what we want or are looking for? Given the number of chefs this club thinks it needs to make this souffle rise, I think not.
