He adds to the core group and becomes front and centre

Absolutely would depend on the cost.

And a very deep psychology assessment.

he will want 2 mil + a season, id rather bank that and put that towards keeping kosi and or jacko, anyways all he cares about is getting in fights not footy

Per Cal Twomey, we’re in the race

Is Cal talking about this year or next?

you would absolutely take him.

him and langford in the same midfield would be dynamite

Kosi will go. Harley is the type the club will trade for Kosi.

I’d take him. He’s pretty dynamic and damaging whilst clearly unsettled. Would look terrific in our jumper.

In fact I’d rather end up with him than Jackson.

The kids a winner

Reid for Koz would be a fair swap. Might have to throw in a F1.

Kozzy wants to go to WA… last I checked there were 2 clubs there.

Windsor and a F1 for Reid.

JVR and Oliver for Jackson and F1.

Why would you give up Windsor? He is a gun. I’d rather send Rivers there.

Geelong.

Not a chance. They have nothing to offer. WC will want players and picks.

It is a chance because they're right into him and his manager has been in talks with Geelong and his family for a while around what that move coukd look like.

Source: Family member of Harley's.

It doesn't have to be this year, Harley is still contracted for 2026. Geelong will have a first round pick if they don't trade this year plus the ability to trade multiple future first round picks.

Harley wants to be a farmer, or own part of Cotton On, or both?

Geelong supporter and then there's the lifestyle pull as well.

Kid averages 18 touches a game given all the latitude in the world. 1 in every 3 possessions is a clanger. Worst in the league. Just as bad last year so theres data here folks. Only reason to be into him is to bid him up for some other sucker to overpay him. How hes valued at 2mln is beyond me.

Not sure about H R….

He could be an absolute star in a good side, or he could be an absolute bust. West Coast are so ordinary, that it’s hard to tell at the moment

The last time i saw him take a game on, was against us last year. He single-handedly obliterated our midfield, but has he done much since?

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
