Doesn’t look good, they showed his family crying down in the rooms.

[censored]. I don’t want to sound heartless or anything. And hopefully it is not an ACL or any other long-term injury, but he’s only 21 or so, and should be back for the start of next year at worst.

He’s lucky it’s not pre-1980.

Lucky also he’s not a horse😳

wtaf?

The swans kid lets slip a paper flag out his hands towards Allir. Not good and deserves a sanction. But the Penalty? He cops a 2 year ban from attending any footy match

Noah BALTA. Bashes a member of the public senseless in a cowardly criminal act and receives an AFL 4 week suspension….. anyone explain to me how the AFL thinks !!! I’m totally confused.

I swear, everytime a combination of Geelong, Hawthorn, Carlton or Collingwood meet, it always feels like an incestual meet up. Don’t get me started on that loser, a full grown man who always dresses up like a cat, full make up and everything. 🤡🤣

Brad Close has a bit of a Gomez Addams look about him.

He's a total jerk. (Close, not Gomez.)

However he made a major contribution to our 2021 flag. (Close, not Gomez.)

Wow I can't stand these 2 teams but the Hawks getting the rough end of umpiring. Very fast footy, but if and when it becomes in tight and pressured, I can't see the Hawks matching the Cats.

He was eating Cat Food out of a tin a few months back on Facebook. Almost throwing up!!

Absolute Boat Anchor, but suits Jeeelong…

Hawks have fought their way back but the Cats on top still

The style of play from both teams is what I'm looking out for ... players from both teams constantly looking for a teammate

And that extra handpass instead of dumping it forward

Hawks have had 208 possessions to half time

Gee I dont think they have called one "not 15" yet, despite the shortest kicks!

Agree. Umps love the cats

Miers kicks it 12 metres and it’s a mark !!

Holmes throws the footy with two hands - play on

Miers in protected zone !!! Intercept

Ridiculous umpiring

Is Frostie injured or just surplus to requirements now that the Hawks are a good side again?

Nash KO'd Miers... "A football act" surely

I left the room and came back to a Geelong player wobbling horribly as he was helped from the ground.

Commentators obviously not going to make a fuss about a Hawthorn player being a thug, so I've got no idea what actually happened.

Can anyone fill me in?

Was it as serious as Kozzie near-fatal bump on Moore?

Hawthorn collecting a nice group of tugs

  • REPORT: North Melbourne

I suppose that I should apologise for the title of this piece, but the temptation to go with it was far too great. The memory of how North Melbourne tore Melbourne apart at the seams earlier in the season and the way in which it set the scene for the club’s demise so early in the piece has been weighing heavily upon all of us. This game was a must-win from the club’s perspective, and the team’s response was overwhelming. The 36 point win over Alastair Clarkson’s Kangaroos at the MCG on Sunday was indeed — roovenge of the highest order!

  • CASEY: Werribee

The Casey Demons remain in contention for a VFL finals berth following a comprehensive 76-point victory over the Werribee Tigers at Whitten Oval last night. The caveat to the performance is that the once mighty Tigers have been raided of many key players and are now a shadow of the premiership-winning team from last season. The team suffered a blow before the game when veteran Tom McDonald was withdrawn for senior duty to cover for Steven May who is ill.  However, after conceding the first goal of the game, Casey was dominant from ten minutes in until the very end and despite some early errors and inaccuracy, they managed to warm to the task of dismantling the Tigers with precision, particularly after half time when the nominally home side provided them with minimal resistance.

The Demons are finally back at the MCG and finally back on the winners list as they continually chipped away at a spirited Kangaroos side eventually breaking their backs and opening the floodgates to run out winners by 6 goals.
