Travelling back from a family funeral in Manchester and was hoping to follow on the AFL app. Typically the one app not working in flight!

Seems like a funereal performance from our boys based on the comments. Might tell the pilot to go around again.....

Pickett!! But that the level of mecurial talent we need to conjure a goal. That’s the worry.

i have family who go for collingwood. melbourne supporters, which i am one, are constantly on the whinge wagon. Brayshaw retired from 'consecutive' hits to the head, Maynard being the last of them. It was a reckless act, not intentional, he should have been suspended at least for 1 or 2 matches. But apart from that, you've got to move on.

Nathan Murphy also retired from concussion and he's still getting around the team at Collingwood with a role at the club.

Not the only person to have fumbled but [censored] fritsch why

the lack of pressure is just appalling

so many easy entries i50

I'm jealous of the way Collingwood play. They hunt like a pack of dogs.

Where the hell is the pressure?

It's the same each week. We have the ball handling skill of an under 14s team.

4 tackles to Essendon's 11 so far despite getting tanned in the possession count. Wonder who wants it more?

This club just doesn't give you hope right now and a new week doesn't seem to change that.

Go away Filth Person…

Complete pud so far

0 marks inside 50. Why JVR and Fritta were not dropped astounds me. Why would you play like you care if you know you're not going to get dropped?

  • POSTGAME: Collingwood

Despite effectively playing against four extra opponents, the Dees controlled much of the match. However, their inaccuracy in front of goal and inability to convert dominance in clearances and inside 50s ultimately cost them dearly, falling to a heartbreaking one-point loss on King’s Birthday.

  • CASEY: Collingwood

It was freezing cold at Mission Whitten Stadium where only the brave came out in the rain to watch a game that turned out to be as miserable as the weather.
The Casey Demons secured their third consecutive victory, earning the four premiership points and credit for defeating a highly regarded Collingwood side, but achieved little else. Apart perhaps from setting the scene for Monday’s big game at the MCG and the Ice Challenge that precedes it.
Neither team showcased significant skill in the bleak and greasy conditions, at a location that was far from either’s home territory. Even the field umpires forgot where they were and experienced a challenging evening, but no further comment is necessary.
