They've corrected the spelling mistake.

Twitter really died when they introduced editing posts.

Especially if we have another bad game this weekend and one then watches this I get the feeling  Goody  talking about healing will look quite odd. This show should have been aired pre-season.

Hamish is a great journalist but will ask the right questions to expose what's going on.

I think this story has peaked and moved on. Would have been more interesting if it was Monday night.

From a PR perspective it would be really hard to stuff this one up. Expect one or more of the following lines

- I love Max and Max loves me; we love each other

- Max is a proud footballer and would like to have his time again

- Max will tell you he was beaten fair and square

- If I had my time again I probably wouldn't have mentioned, but it came from a place of love.

Taking stab here but I think this interview may have been filmed weeks ago?

Yep, probably done before we even started the season.

He's also on AFL 360 tonight. His fortnighly segment.

Did "Simon's final word" end up getting released last Sunday night (at home with a red wine and a spag bol) or was that a one off? Or saved only for positive performances?

Hamish was interviewed on SEN a couple of weeks ago marketing this program.

They were all done prior to the season starting.

Did you leave out a question mark? What do you mean by expose? That sounds pretty serious. We have out-of-form players. Many players keep making the same mistakes. Maybe also the talent isn't (or is no longer) there. But is there some big secret that needs to be exposed?

I think he's on that too, probably round 6.50 tonight.

Blockbuster of TV tonight. Switch the phone off and get the popcorn ready.

Absolutely.

Hard Quiz followed by Charlie Pickering's The Weekly.

Not to mention SBS/ABC News and the wonderful Sarah on 7.30.

Top viewing night.!

I'll post the full video if and when it becomes available.

I don’t think Bailey Fritsch has put his boots on yet….

I wonder what Goody could say to make anyone feel better after the weekend?

I imagine whatever he says will just annoy the majority on here

He’s changed nothing -  same gameplan, same predictability and same fwd line inefficiency.  I’d like to see Hird have a crack with this group.

Either way, he’s on a hiding to nothing me thinks. Media just love to pile on us, especially Simon.

  • REPORT: Carlton

I am now certain that the decline in fortunes of the Melbourne Football Club from a premiership power with the potential for more success to come in the future, started when the team ran out for their Round 9 match up against Carlton last year. After knocking over the Cats in a fierce contest the week before, the Demons looked uninterested at the start of play and gave the Blues a six goal start. They recovered to almost snatch victory but lost narrowly with a score of 11.10.76 to 12.5.77. Yesterday, they revisited the scene and provided their fans with a similar display of ineptitude early in the proceedings. Their attitude at the start was poor, given that the game was so winnable. Unsurprisingly, the resulting score was almost identical to that of last year and for the fourth time in succession, the club has lost a game against Carlton despite having more scoring opportunities.

  • CASEY: Carlton

The Casey Demons smashed the Carlton Reserves off the park at Casey Fields on Sunday to retain a hold on an end of season wild card place. It was a comprehensive 108 point victory in which the home side was dominant and several of its players stood out but, in spite of the positivity of such a display, we need to place an asterisk over the outcome which saw a net 100 point advantage to the combined scores in the two contests between Demons and Blues over the weekend.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.
