Some of these comments are absolutely absurd.

Xerri is best ruck in the comp and still on the rise. Max had one bad game against him. He doesn’t need to retire after one poor game.

Langdon was a bright spot last year and he’s being asked to shift roles this year. He’s had a bad game. Doesn’t mean his career is over.

Get a grip people.

Let's discuss Max more in depth.

Do you think he's got the speed and stamina require for the current style of footy?

Unless you make him a more permanent piece in our fwd line, don't see him being good come next year. He's been a great ruckman and thanks for your service but we need to move forward.

Sad thing is we haven't got anyone good to bring in.

Goody never makes strong statements & drops players that need to be dropped

Losing is not the issue it the lack of effort by senior players and the lack of talent on those coming through. This is no light on the horizon stuff. Absolutely no positives at all

No. He's still a very good player. Trouble is he's had to carry everything by himself for eons.

The club admitted as much when it recruited Grundy.

Did it bother replacing him ?

Na. Just didn't care.

9 goal belting by north. I’m dreading the Geelong game

Speed? He’s never been fast but somehow managed to be the GOAT and a 7x AA selection…

Stamina? Absolutely. He’s still a warrior.

Are you sure you’ve been watching the same Max Gawn that everyone else has for the past decade?

of all the rubbish from this team today our greatest club champion of all time is the guy you’re ready to kick to the curb???

Far too many broken tackles today.

More inside 50s and losing by 10 goals is something.

Rivers must be pulling his hair out. Working so hard to find an option. No one leading or moving at all. Finally finds an option and delivers accurately under pressure. The player he kicks to bombs long or turns it over.

Not as much as Clarry

Jeez, that trash today Collingwood is beating us in stats for the game!IMG_6323.jpeg.a7f5b8123438ec365b8f0cf3bee578b5.jpeg

Midfield absolutely pantsed today, poor stoppage set up, need to honey pot then getting burnt in transition.

Gawn well beaten

Viney 3 times blazed into f50 straight down Combens throat, handballs not hitting targets, kicking over teammates in the open.

If you want to be a laughing stock you sack the coach in Rd 2

Stay strong regroup and back your players, to turn the basics around

Our problem is that we won't move forward, like with Goodwin.

That includes the playing list, as hard the decision may be.
