    Losing is not the issue it the lack of effort by senior players and the lack of talent on those coming through. This is no light on the horizon stuff. Absolutely no positives at all

    No. He's still a very good player. Trouble is he's had to carry everything by himself for eons.

    The club admitted as much when it recruited Grundy.

    Did it bother replacing him ?

    Speed? He’s never been fast but somehow managed to be the GOAT and a 7x AA selection…

    Stamina? Absolutely. He’s still a warrior.

    More inside 50s and losing by 10 goals is something. 

    Rivers must be pulling his hair out. Working so hard to find an option. No one leading or moving at all. Finally finds an option and delivers accurately under pressure. The player he kicks to bombs long or turns it over.

    Midfield absolutely pantsed today, poor stoppage set up, need to honey pot then getting burnt in transition.

    Viney 3 times blazed into f50 straight down Combens throat, handballs not hitting targets, kicking over teammates in the open.

    If you want to be a laughing stock you sack the coach in Rd 2

    Stay strong regroup and back your players, to turn the basics around

    Our problem is that we won't move forward, like with Goodwin.

    That includes the playing list, as hard the decision may be.

      The winds finally returned to Casey Fields for the Demons’ third home game of the VFL season, and its impact was immediate. After two opening rounds played in uncharacteristically fine conditions, the Anzac Day clash brought back the familiar gusty conditions that have been a feature of the region at this time of the year.
      Forced to kick into the breeze first, the slow-starting Demons faced a tricky opening against an enthusiastic young Tigers outfit. Casey responded by turning the contest into a scramble, pressuring Richmond into errors and missed targets. The tactic proved crucial, keeping the game tight for three and a half quarters before the Demons pulled away with the autumn wind at their backs.
