Before anyone jumps on me, Iโ€™m joking. I still remember sharpie-ing over Doggaโ€™s face in the 2023 calendar.

Who the hell would produce a Melbourne calendar without Pickett, Petracca or Oliver?

May is December too....

I remember Grundy was in my calendar the year after he left the club for Sydney, just made me laugh.

These calendar printers should really sync up more with the list managers.

It feels a very Melbourne thing to do.

Judd is dead to me.

Luckily i lack conviction and will forgive him as soon as he re-signs.

but until then. DEAD TO ME..

I donโ€™t mind their omission. Theyโ€™ve been in it every year for years. I love the inclusion of the young brigadeโ€ฆ Leb, X and the Bison. Kolt was in this yearโ€™s.

My beef is that Melky has never featured. Unless we count the time I put a pic of him over the Grundy pic. ๐Ÿ˜…

Is it an official calendar or one a company has made?

Iโ€™m not sure. I buy it online every year from a company called Just Calendars. But itโ€™s the same one that Coles sells in Jan/Feb every year and which is AFL approved.

Maybe they pay less if they dont have the stars and people potentially being traded in the calendar ๐Ÿ˜

Except before now thatโ€™s all they ever had.

Geez. If trac is to leave id rather he go to the GC. Asking the question of Humphrey's is a great move. I remember us trying to trade up to get him a few years back. Would be awesome in our team. Is trac to Gold Coast/Humphrey and pick 6 out of the question?

I think expecting pick 6 to come back is a bit much from a GCS perspective. Probably a 2nd rounder is more fitting or if we give them pick 23.

  • AFLW REPORT: West Coast

Melbourneโ€™s response to last weekโ€™s heartbreak was emphatic, as the Demons delivered a statement win over West Coast at a windswept Casey Fields. All of the pre-match hype surrounded the coachโ€™s box matchup of Mick Stinear up against his apprentice, Daisy Pearce along with the gloomy weather forecast.ย In the end, it was less about tactical chess and more about Melbourneโ€™s relentless execution. With rain looming, the DeeArmy and early birds snapped up the best undercover viewing spots.

Epic battle alert. ย This Sunday, Casey Fields hosts a coachโ€™s showdownย pitting the wits of the master Mick Stinear (92 games, 71.7% winย rate)ย againstย hisย protรฉgรฉ Daisy Pearce (16ย games,ย 43.8%). Still early in her coaching journey, Daisyโ€™s record doesnโ€™t yet reflect her impact โ€” but sheโ€™s already the best-performed coach at West Coast.Daisโ€™ย isย mythic. ย Likeย Katniss Everdeen, everyone either wants to kiss her, kill herย (sporting metaphor) orย be her. ย Toothersย Daisy Pearceย isย a role model,ย someone admired for their heart, humility and humour.

  • AFLW REPORT: Port Adelaide

Well, that was a shock. The Demons 4-game unbeaten run came to a grinding halt in a tense, scrappy affair at the sunny, windy Alberton Oval, with the Power holding on for a 2-point win. The Dees had their chancesโ€”plenty of themโ€”but couldn't convert when it mattered most. Portโ€™s tackling pressure rattled the Dees, triggering a fumble frenzy and surprising lack of composure from seasoned players.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Port Adelaide

The undefeated Demons venture across the continent to the spiritual home of the Port Adelaide Football Club on Saturday afternoon for the inaugural match for premiership points between these long-historied clubs. Alberton Oval will however, be a ground familiar to our players following a practice match there last year. We lost both the game and Liv Purcell, who missed 7 home and away matches after suffering facial fractures in the dying moments of the game.

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmyโ€™s inclusive bannerโ€”"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwoodโ€™s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.ย
