Below average in every stat which is a little concerning.

Yes he can run but no point being an elite runner when you cannot get the ball.

Thank goodness..some negativity… always need to highlight his perceived faults as a 21yr old before he actually gets to the club 🤨

Well let's blow smoke up his ad like we have been with ANB and the rest of the average blokes we seem to love

So Brisbane have made their moves and now have 32 and 34 and some other junk (43, 45, 60).

We have 28, 40, 49, 54 and 65

I doubt we go backwards but we could just give them all 5 of those picks for 32, 34 and Sharp

Most likely result is we combo 2-3 of the 40/50’s later picks for one of 32 or 34 and Sharp.

We have to keep flexibility for Oliver trades and getting another first round pick in this draft but I do wonder just what pick GWS can’t turn down for a guy they’ve never played (or what offer we can realistically make).

Yes we love ANB.  Drafted with pick 40, turns into an ultimate professional footballer, works on his weaknesses, plays in a premiership, his mum sits in the cheer squad wearing a red wig, stays 10 years, his family comes to the last training session all in Demons gear, and we get pick 28 for him.  Draft another please.

I mean what did Bris get for Joe D - nothing;

Good pickup if we can make it happen without giving up much, we really lacked in depth this year and this will help address that

Had a read of the Brisbane Bigfooty forum and the overall vibe about Sharp was positive:

  • Reasonably disappointed to see him go
  • Excellent athletically
  • Was said to be dominant in an early season VFL game over Casey which may have piqued our interest
  • MCG will suit his playing style and Langdon could be a good mentor
  • Disposal iffy (but who hasn't got iffy disposal at the MFC)

And some here say comments:

  • Apparently Fullarton and his Dad not are not overly excited about being at the MFC.
  • A certain someone that is no longer on the list will be a positive for the MFC in terms of behavioural and cultural issues. The player was mentioned numerous times on their forum.

No don’t have to do that …let’s just wait till he gets here..although if that’s what you thought of ANB then 🤷

would be 1703 points for 1126 points and sharp

20 touches and a goal.

Quality not quantity??

Who knows, I doubt many of us saw the game.

VFL stats show he was consistent through the year without starring particularly in any certain game.  His stats show a higher kick to handball ratio, offer relating his more outside run and carry role.  Sounds good to provide another link type player. Pick 54 is enough in exchange for Sharp.

Casey will benefit

He was an emergency for the Lions in this year's GF so around the 25th best player at the Lions will do me.

You are seriously comparing a 29 year old VFL player to the premiership player and life member who just came third in the B&F? You are a fool.

Think there's enough there to make this a great acquisition. Even if just filling Hunter's spot

  • AFLW REPORT: Collingwood

Expectations of a comfortable win for Narrm at Victoria Park quickly evaporated as the match turned into a tense nail-biter. After a confident start by the Demons, the Pies piled on pressure and forced red and blue supporters to hold their collective breath until after the final siren. In a frenetic, physical contest, it was Captain Kate’s clutch last quarter goal and a missed shot from Collingwood’s Grace Campbell after the siren which sealed a thrilling 4-point win. Finally, Narrm supporters could breathe easy.

  • CASEY: Williamstown

The Casey Demons issued a strong statement to the remaining teams in the VFL race with a thumping 76-point victory in their Elimination Final against Williamstown. This was the sixth consecutive win for the Demons, who stormed into the finals from a long way back with scalps including two of the teams still in flag contention. Senior Coach Taylor Whitford would have been delighted with the manner in which his team opened its finals campaign with high impact after securing the lead early in the game when Jai Culley delivered a precise pass to a lead from Noah Yze, who scored his first of seven straight goals for the day. Yze kicked his second on the quarter time siren, by which time the Demons were already in control. The youngster repeated the dose in the second term as the Seagulls were reduced to mere

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Collingwood

Narrm time isn’t a standard concept—it’s the time within the traditional lands of Narrm, the Woiwurrung name for Melbourne. Indigenous Round runs for rounds 3 and 4 and is a powerful platform to recognise the contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in sport, community, and Australian culture. This week, suburban footy returns to the infamous Victoria Park as the mighty Narrm take on the Collingwood Magpies at 1:05pm Narrm time, Sunday 31 August. Come along if you can.

  • AFLW REPORT: St. Kilda

The Dees demolished the Saints in a comprehensive 74-pointshellacking.  We filled our boots with percentage — now a whopping 520.7% — and sit atop the AFLW ladder. Melbourne’s game plan is on fire, and the competition is officially on notice.

  • REPORT: Collingwood

It was yet another disappointing outcome in a disappointing year, with Melbourne missing the finals for the second consecutive season. Indeed, it wasn’t even close, as the Demons' tally of seven wins was less than half the number required to rank among the top eight teams in the competition. When the dust of the game settled and supporters reflected on Melbourne's  six-point defeat at the hands of close game specialists Collingwood, Max Gawn's words about his team’s unfulfilled potential rang true … well, almost.
