Any chance our club will pick up a forward.. it’s only been an issue since 2022!

That’s why I’m hoping we take Tarau if available at pick 9 huge potential and could play multiple positions including forward

Last time the Tigers had 5 picks in the top 20 they did this:

Brett Deledio, Richard Tambling, Danny Meyer, Adam Pattison and Dean Polo

Could have been Roughy, Buddy and Griffen

Let's hope we play the Tigers twice next season

They'll be lucky to win 2 games.

List has been gutted

Tigers need to try and trade a few picks out for next year and spread out the talent over a couple of years

Did we jump on 9 too early … tigers might have been willing to trade 10 or 11 for MFC 2025 future 1st and say 28 … then Dees could have packaged up 40, 46,54,65 to Lions 27 or suns 29 to give them extra points! Water under the bridge

Where were those kind of picks when we were trading LJ to Freo.... hell based on the Bolton trade we could have asked for six first round picks.

Amazing .... 2 years ago everyone wanted draft picks but this year it's players going for multiple picks. No wonder Dogs were unhappy with what Geelong were offering for Bailey

Richmond, 8 picks in the top 24. Not a bad position.

I reckon Richmond will be next level awful in ‘25. They’ll be uncompetitive in 70% of their games.

Wow the deals just keep coming

Crows are such a loser club. If we didn't take McAdam last year we would have probably received a 5th rounder for ANB.

Interesting that the reputed difficult traders at Giants, Dogs, Bombers and Cats are again the ones with deals still not happening.

Anyone know what this refers to? Trading up for another top 5 pick or something?

  • REPORT: Essendon

What were they thinking? I mean by “they” the coaching panel and team selectors who chose the team to play against an opponent who, like Melbourne, had made a poor start to the season and who they appeared perfectly capable of beating in what was possibly the last chance to turn the season around. It’s no secret that the Demons’ forward line is totally dysfunctional, having opened the season barely able to average sixty points per game which means there has been no semblance of any system from the team going forward into attack. Nevertheless, on Saturday night at the Adelaide Oval in one of the Gather Round showcase games, Melbourne, with Max Gawn dominating the hit outs against a depleted Essendon ruck resulting from Nick Bryan’s early exit, finished just ahead in clearances won and found itself inside the 50 metre arc 51 times to 43. The end result was a final score that had the Bombers winning 15.6 (96) to 8.9 (57). On balance, one could expect this to result in a two or three goal win, but in this case, it translated into a six and a half goal defeat because they only managed to convert eight times or 11.68% of their entries. The Bombers more than doubled that. On Thursday night at the same ground, the losing team Adelaide managed to score 100 points from almost the same number of times inside 50.

Despite a spirited third quarter surge, the Demons have slumped to their worst start to a season since 2012, remaining winless and second last on the ladder after a 39-point defeat to Essendon at Adelaide Oval in Gather Round.

  • GAMEDAY: Essendon

It’s Game Day, and the Demons are staring down the barrel of an 0-5 start for the first time since 2012 as they take on Essendon at Adelaide Oval for Gather Round. In that forgettable season, Melbourne finally broke their drought by toppling the Bombers. Can lightning strike twice? Will the Dees turn their nightmare start around and breathe life back into 2025?
