Well answered by our fearless leader. Maybe Max can take on the roles as President and CEO as well as AFL superstar.

Whether it's warranted or not, other people close to Trac being dragged into this, either by the media or the club, is certainly not going to help diffuse the situation. Especially if Trac's camp thinks the club is leaking against them

The article from Robinson is only based on publicly available information, no leaking required.

Though I would have thought that seeing those close to you dragged into this publicly (and by inference, negatively) would be an incentive to dampen things down and find a resolution.

Has tom inferred Kate's reference to they all get homesickness was racial?

WTF?

Kate's performance was poor but it's clear she was referring to players from other states. Nothing else.

I mentioned this person by name and the damage she was doing in a post a few days ago, however, quite appropriately my post was rejected as the moderator stated that they didn’t want anyone named on this site.

To be honest goodwindees, I thought of that instantly. Didn't want to say anything, if you know what I mean.

The current lead story on the Herald-Sun AFL web page refers to the "disintegrating Demons".

Meanwhile we have posters here suggesting that Petracca is actually the cause of all the problems, and president Roffey needs not bother about contacting him or his family.

Just leave it to the football department, we are told.

Is that the same football department that permitted Trac to return to the field, stuffed up Oliver's year. brought in under-performers Schache, Fullarton, Billings and McAdam, and then watched us slide ingloriously down the ladder?

Roffey and the board need to show some of Max Gawn's leadership qualities and sort this mess out properly.

Her waffling interview told us absolutely nothing we didn't already know or suspect.

Our secretive, self-protective board don't seem to care that, if this fiasco goes on much longer, membership numbers could well plummet in 2025.

Which credentials terrify you? The lawyer part?

If people are afraid of her credentials, wait until they look at actual lawyers' CVs.......... She is not admitted as a lawyer and never worked at the law firm as a lawyer.  She instead took a role supporting the use of technology and communications about technology uptake.

I got the impression that Kate Roffey was very careful to protect Petracca in a number of her responses to Whately's questions. She was determined not to offer any information that would compound the difficulties Christian is obviously facing at present.

So it’s now out in the open that his Mrs is influencing his trade decision thanks to Robbo. This is going to change the tide against Trac again amongst the general public despite Roffey’s poor interview.

Trac won’t be happy now that this is public knowledge. It really is in his best interest to call it quits on this crusade now.

Trac is a grown man. Blaming his missus is low. He’s been promoting his brand before she came on the scene so just as likely she’s doing what he wants her to do.

Absolutely he is supporting this circus.

To be fair it’s been noted here for days, but Demonland rightly doesn’t want one person targeted who is a private person not involved in the club.

I know, it was a poor attempt by me at talking in code.

For instance you could have the front of something like "Tom Morris is a genius" which is actually code for "We attack at dawn".

Ultimately Roffey did not inspire confidence. Which as president is her number 1,2 &3 objective. This is an abject failure.

She was not exhibiting racism though. That is purely lazy, opportunistic, gutter journalism.

If they want to report on racism, Collingwood is on the other side of AAMI park

So the puerile tabloid that is the Herald Sun has a headline 'Disintegration Demons'. And we just blindly believe this dross? Next you'll be telling me that the Daily Star in the UK is a reputable read. Give it a spell. The media is salivating with all this nonsense and so many are falling for it. I'll listen to our 7 time AA Maxy we'll before these losers. He summed up the situation perfectly.

Wait. He said that a friend visited him in ICU the next morning, when he couldn't have visitors for days after the surgery? That doesn't really add up.

He was allowed one visitor. The friend was someone very close to him.

Also, highly unlikely a surgeon would give a random friend that kind of information. Completely unprofessional if so.

In her (very ordinary) interview the subject was homesickness, referring mostly to the Kozzie situation but also to others (eg Petty) she said 'they' always get homesick which I interpreted as referring to interstate players (makes sense) but others have seized on this as a racist thing. ie. 'they' being indigenous players.

FWIW, I think she performed very poorly, but most of it has been misinterpreted which is in part down to Roffey but the remainder is circling journos itching for a kill.

Oh yes I understood that part, I just wanted to see what Tom Morris had said as I couldn’t find anything in regard to this specifically

And Mark Robinson is devoting an article to Joseph Gutnick's thoughts. Hahahaha!!🤣🤣🤣Unbelievably hilarious.  You couldn't make this stuff up. Robbo can't even speak the 'King's English'. So terribly embarrassing.  Does anyone actually pay or subscribe to the HS any more? OMG.
