Apologies for that. If it's any consolation I washed my hands afterwards and wiped down the keyboard with antibacterial wipes.

On another matter, not sure if already posted as it's hard to keep up, but heard it mentioned Christian was spotted with the rest of the players today for a belated Mad Monday (or early Wacky Wednesday I suppose). That would be at least some kind of good news in relation to the recent comments about players being unhappy with him and the like.

If true, I would rather all the players be there than some. Nothing worse than if the players fall into 2 factions.

I wouldn’t believe what McRae says. He’s playing poker like all the other feigning “not interested” clubs. Personally I’d like to see him go WC so as we can rescue Harley Reid before Harley starts developing mental health problems. Also will give me incentive to go to more WC games so that I can boo him.

Off topic but that type of tech as it improves exponentially is going to be a massive problem in the future particularly in the political spectrum and perhaps elsewhere.

Needs to be regulated ASAP. The world has enough problems separating fact from fiction already.

I'm getting a sense you have ok mail on this goodwindees?

It's mentioned on SEN this morning. Sam Edmund outlined the arrangement, I am not mentioning any names around who the split management is now with as I don't want my comment to be removed.

Thanks Mate, appreciate the info.

On a different note, I'm guessing we will struggle to attract players to the club this year so if Petracca trade does not eventuate it'll be fairly quiet trade period for the club?

My fear is that either way it will be unless we pay significant overs to other players and clubs. This whole affair and all the events leading up whether just perception and certainly some reality has tarnished the club and it's going to take more than just PR and platitudes to fix.

Dish Licker mate of mine reckons he would trade Naughton for him BUT NOT Ugle Hagen!

as good as his highlights might be, i don't want someone who only occasionally turns up to play and couldn't hit the side of a barn.  we already have enough of that type of forward

Dazz, it was mentioned to him recently that publicly whinging about the direction of the Club, is ruining the direction of the Club.

Very difficult at the moment to see the circuit breaker.

I have somewhat nervously respected our clubs supportive culture of our playing groups needs and wants. But there are risks.

Jackson wanted to go home, we did it very respectfully. We let him go.

Similarly ANB needed to go home and we supported him.

I would like to think that our cultural values may encourage others to consider playing for us.

I get it that some on this platform are saying that we should cut our loses, let Petracca go and see what we can get in return.

My concern going forward is this. What sort of dangerous precedent may we be setting if we let him get his wishes and go to another club? We are a mid sized club. Think of how the big Victorian clubs and other power clubs from interstate may exploit us in coming years. These power clubs would know that if they try hard enough they could exploit our cultural values and pick off any disgruntled star in coming years.  How nervous would you be going forward if say hypothetically Clayton had bit of a setback and faced a new set of challenges in coming years?

Goody at his last press conference said Petracca has a contract and he won’t be moving anywhere.  I’m with Goody on this one. The team is bigger than any individual. If he doesn’t want to come back on board, then he can sit on the bench in the VFL for all I care.

Having said that, I hope he stays, everyone makes amends and moves on.  Sounds this may not be likely but I can only hope.🤞

Those seem like the actions of a player who doesn't intend to play another game at the club.

He may not have a choice or we might not have a choice to keep him.

Disappointing for supporters if a once beloved player irrevocably damages the club more on the way out.

I truly hope things can be mended but each day that reality looks further and further away.
