Spare me Gerard. Gonna be a long summer if the self appointed moral guardian of the afl is going to list all our shortcomings day-in-day-out.

Any word on cats players found on the floor of nightclubs or is that only something that happens at clubs with bad culture?

Trac’s management would be very happy with that little soliloquy.

God he's a sanctimonious little t_rd

Of course the club is bemused because the real issue is that someone is in his ear every day telling him they can make more money through his brand if he goes to another club. The rest is just white noise.

Vague ramblings of someone who knows nothing, from the Media.

I've posted a few times on this, you should be able piece it together.

I'm not really concerned about whether people take it on or not, at the end of the day the vomit and laugh react crew are going to vomit and laugh react. It doesn't change what the situation is.

Code for you've got absolutely nothing. Embarrassing.

If anyone hasn't listened to that clip of The Ox on SEN WA. Stop everything and go do it now.

The most sense spoken on several inter-related and not pleasant topics I've heard out of the media.

If he does play in opposition colours in 25, it will have a level of animosity between the players and particularly the fans not seen since Carey. At least it will be a big crowd for him

Sadly if our players couldn't even sneer at Brayden, in fact they high fived and hugged him, I doubt there would be any animosity towards Trac should he ever play against us.

Or, you know, you could use that burgeoning big boy intellect of yours and as I said, read what I've previously written and infer some meaning.

But hey, herrrrr derrrrrr media vendetta, MFC perennial victims et al.

He spoke well on issues within the club and what needs to change but for me, he glossed over Christian also being an issue in this. The question was put to him on Christian’s potential selfishness and he gave a short answer and quickly brought it back to having a crack at the club.

I’m not saying he’s incorrect re the club, I just think his opinion of Christian maybe a little too high.

We know now the extent of the trauma and psychological stress that Petracca has endured during, and post operation. We have heard his concern for various aspects of the MFC football program and administration. None of this seems to me to be an insurmountable obstacle with regards to his reconciliation with the club.  After reading and listening to the current media updates, I think it likely that the leaking of information is coming from those very close to Petracca. In at least one instance, that group includes individuals with some direct control over aspects of contractual opportunities available to him beyond his football: his 'Brand'. This latter component seems to be the tipping point for our star!

Eery parallels with the RDB departure, similar age, similar profile. Club had recently won a premiership. Looking to expand the brand.  Walked in to a club gathering one day (acc. to Red Fox) and didn't like the vibe.  Went to Carlton.

With the Red Fox's blessing tobe fair

The more time this goes on, the more likely it is he wont be a Melbourne player next year. Prepare yourselves, folks.

The problem will be that the only clubs that can either afford trac with trades and salary cap are all bottom 8 sides.

I can’t see how Carlton, Collingwood or Essendon can make it happen

It would have to involve a MEGA Trade.

The only conclusion that even only half makes sense to me is that Petracca is frustrated with the coach. ....

That might be correct, but you gave a long list of possible problems, not many of them related to Goodwin, so I am surprised you then boldly conclude: "The only conclusion....is.. coach".

That was [censored] by Gerard, not once did he mention Petraccas antics & carry on, the CP5 brand, attendance, Casey training ground, the doctor being cleared of any wrongdoing, Petracca wanting to go back on the ground, just about the whole list signed & being a spoilt brat

Buckley was good, said he didn’t like the way he’s made it all about himself & that other clubs will take notice of those type of things

Unfortunately, the remainder of his time at the club was hampered by injury including the need to undergo knee surgery. He retired from playing football at the end of the season after 4

    AWESOME FOURSOME by Meggs

The rejuvenated Demons out tussled the Tigers by 13 points to make it four wins on the trot on Saturday which means that the slight possibility of a finals appearance remains alive in 2024. This is despite the AFLW handicapping the Demons against their peers yet again (more later). Lots to celebrate as it was Kids Day at Casey Fields and both teams ran onto the ground modelling their Pride jumpers.   Kate Hore won the toss and kicked to the Clyde end. Thankfully, the notorious Casey

    THE TRADING CHRONICLES 03

Part 3: Happier Days by Whispering Jack It would be fair to say that when the Melbourne Football Club entered the free agency and trade period earlier this month, its reputation was flagging, if not in tatters. The club was taking a battering in the media and social media over a number of issues, some real and others imaginary and even fabricated, relating to the running of the club, team performance and its culture, a build up that’s been taking place for more than twelve months. IN FRONT by Meggs

In this must-win clash between Melbourne 11th on the ladder and St Kilda 8th, it was the Demons who were in front all day to win in a hard-fought Round 8 clash to make it three in a row to keep theit slim finals chances alive. A good crowd of enthusiastic footy families for week 2 of Pride Round had gathered.  The full pews in the well-appointed RSEA Park grandstand provided excellent viewing.   The Saints won the toss and elected to kick to the southern end favoured by a strong 2-3 g
