I’m not going to reveal my sources, so don’t ask, but Christian did a tour of the Yarraville-Seddon Eagles facilities last week. He was very impressed by what he saw, including access to the Westgate, and public transport options on both the Werribee and Williamstown lines.

His reservations are parking around Anderson street, and the lack of blockbuster movies showing at The Sun cinema. He does however rate the cinemas Choc Tops.

You forgot about the closeness to the Yarraville Trugo Club.

You forgot the food stall they offered him at Grazeland.

Would have to get used to singing the ‘red, gold and blue’…

Now I've heard it all.

Trac was going to go to North?

Bored Come On GIF

That's not what I wrote, and you know it. If you're going to jump down everyone's throat when something you don't like is put up, at least not put your words into their mouth. Maybe consider the ignore function.

I am repeating a conversation had with an employee of North. It's not hard to imaging that many players at different clubs do a tour of other's facilities to see what's out there. Doesn't mean Trac to North, or that Trac will leave MFC, nor that he took the visit with more than a grain of salt. I see it as DD for him to make the correct call.

So you’re telling me that the media, who is all over Trac every time he farts, didn’t catch wind (pardon the pun) of him touring the facilities of another club? Really?

And did he tour the facilities before or after he flew back from Noosa?

Is Petracca consulting the Caulfield project perhaps? He went to benchmark our own new training facilities 😆

I don’t understand why people go down this narrative and it’s a very common response so don’t mean to single you out (sorry). But what part of what was reported has been incorrect? It seems people apply strawman logic to media reports because they don’t like what they hear.

The Jack Viney situation has been the same. Just because Jack has extended and if Trac ends up staying doesn’t make what was reported incorrect.

It highlights how people don’t understand how media and the footy industry work.

To be fair it was the method by which Tom Morris chased the Jack Viney story that has upset people. Jack Viney was first mentioned by David King on Sen. David said I think it would be good for North to go after older well established leaders such as Jack Viney. Yes David King has links to North as a former player. Tom Morris then runs to North Melbourne and asks them are they hunting Jack Viney to which they answer yes he and players like that. Tom Morris turns it into a story. It whips up a media storm and then Clarko mentions Jack by name which usually doesn't happen. It's not clever reporting.

I'm telling you of the conversation I had with a NMFC employee. If you don't like it, bad luck!

Oh boy. Any club's facilities are going to be miles ahead of our [censored] show facilities. [censored]

I actually thought you planted a fake story to see if the grubs would run with it.

And I’m questioning the validity of that conversation.

I remember years back whilst young Wattsy was running around when a good mate of mine, who worked at Carlton, let me know that after the season finished, they just finished showing Jack the facilities and he was very impressed and quite keen for a trade.

I went full Tom Morris (without the bleaching of the teeth and sexual and homophobic slurs) and jumped on Demonland as quickly as possible to share the sad news that I was first to learn.  Very quickly I was smacked down with multiple posters confirming that's rubbish and Jack was overseas on his end of season trip.  Which would have been easy to confirm via social media (wasn't using)

I responded to my Carlton mate that I think Wattsy is overseas on his trip and that he's full of [censored] to which he responded "lol - gotya"

No reason to doubt you Moony - just thought I'd share an experience that started similarly to yours and may end up similar also.

I almost never post here but thought I'd add my two cents in defence of Moonshadow.

This is a bit "telephone game" of me because I heard it from a good friend who was told by his friend at North. Until reading it here today I hadn't heard or seen it from anyone else so it does seem it was kept fairly quiet.  What I was told was that he went and did the tour and North didn't think they had a chance to land him.  Nonetheless, I'm kinda glad someone else has been told this because I was shocked it'd stayed so quiet for so long.

Again, it's friend of a friend stuff but someone else having heard it piqued my interest and I figured this post may reduce the pile on for someone just sharing info of interest, which people are free to take or leave.

After sustaining a torn ACL in the final match of the 2023 season Jake added a bit to the attack late in the 2024 season upon his return. 2024 Player Reviews: #3 Christian Salem

The luckless Salem suffered a hamstring injury against the Lions early in the season and, after missing a number of games, he was never at his best. He was also inconvenienced by minor niggles later in the season. This was a blow for the club that sorely needed him to fill gaps in the midfield at times as well as to do his best work in defence. Lack of preparation after a problematic preseason prevented Oliver from reaching the high standards set before last year’s hamstring woes. BLOODY BLUES by Meggs

The conclusion to Narrm’s home and away season was the inevitable let down by the bloody Blues  who meekly capitulated to the Bombers.   The 2024 season fixture handicapped the Demons chances from the get-go with Port Adelaide, Brisbane and Essendon advantaged with enough gimme games to ensure a tough road to the finals, especially after a slew of early season injuries to star players cost wins and percentage.     As we strode confidently through the gates of Prin
