Go you good thing

Windsor was a great pick-up. Hasn;t been his best tonight but he's a beautiful kick.

Billings has done nothing but turn it over tonight. Not good.

 👀

Richmond are on. I'll take 4pts if we can overcome the pressure. It's a great game of footy.

running more than anyone bar langdon and windsor

absolutely not

Far from our worst tonight

Great goal Windsor. I thought they changed the ruling on balls that hit the umpire, where if the ball was going to go through for a goal it would be a goal, but otherwise no change in the rules (the ball hitting the umpire is an act of god - play on).

My man Dan Turner!!!! Never would have thought he would be the leading goal kicker in an AFL match 😂 His old man and mine quite good friends

I know he’s had little offseason but geez petty looks ordinary. Can’t mark, can’t kick, v slow. If we’re gonna sell him next year we’re going to need him to find his feet very soon.

In disco we trust

Much better quarter.  Turner 3 goals,  who knew he had that in him.

Just need to keep going & not let them back in it

Petty. Oh no no no no

backline only

I've never seen someone this out of form given so many games.

It's actually pretty cruel from the Coach to keep playing him in this state.

Needs a spell at Casey to find his mojo under alot less pressure and VFL level opponents.

May and Lever have been best on for mine, not playing on much of a forward line but kept us in it in the first half. Disco kicking 3 has been the difference. Langdon solid and Windsor came into it in the 3rd. Koz makes a massive difference to the forward line.

Petty can’t move, I think they’re hoping to run him into form but I think he needs to go behind the ball until he gets fitness and touch back. Billings needs the mids to be feeding him or he’s useless and he’s pretty hungry at the moment.

He is so clearly and unequivocally out of form on all metrics, it’s not even funny.

At the huge risk of getting ahead of myself and not wanting to jinx the team🤞to go on and have a big win would be excellent.  As  I'm sure all are aware the lower the opposition score the better the percentage. The % difference come the end of the season could be critical. Having said that I'll take any win atm!!

Several folk here need to book an appointment at SpecSavers.

Jack Billings is one of the reasons we’re back in it.

Keep self-flagellating…

No way around it...he's lost our there at times and was totally missing last round.

He needs a mini-preseason, like Ben Brown did in 2021. He needs to not play AFL or VFL for about 6-8 weeks and just get super-fit. Come back in late in the year and play full-forward from there on in.

Worked once, why not try it again.

Why am I not surprised that boofhead Taylor didn’t know who General Lee was.

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
