Why does ump 23 have red hands?

Probably slipped on the Toyota logo.

The half time reporter from Adelaide just said that Harrison Petty is almost certain to be wearing Crows jumper next season.

I'm not buying this.

I love Petty but the jury is out on the condition of his body.

Has been injured a lot and surely any club would be watching how he goes this season before saying it's a done deal.

At that size, to move the way he does, is just freakish. His marks stick and has great kicking technique. Takes the very best to take him out of the game.

I agree - but he could be Carey, and isn't...quite

if petty goes he's under contract

if crom need him that bad, they're gonna pay up

Marlion hasn't been too good so far

Tigers hanging in there very well at this stage with 2 players out of the game.
Fantastic piece of play from Martin, he had so much time and space

Kemp has a habit of going for speckies in the backline

C'mon Tigers beat these floggers

Carlton butchering lots of opportunities. will laugh heartily if they lose this game after such a great win last week.

Blues been taught a lesson by the Tigers. Lost 3 to injuries and still winning

so many errors by both teams

Tiges defensive method looks very much like the Dees. Allow the ball to get through the wings, but bottle it up completely 30m - 60m out from goal. They are lacking some talent on many lines but their system looks tight.

6 frees and a 50 to zero

embarrassing

I hate that stupid in the back rule from a legitimate tackle that would otherwise be HTB

Yes that is not what the rule was brought in for. The guy was caught cold and they both went forward in the tackle. Free kick holding the ball FFS.

Umpires have decided to break the deadlock.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
