    It's not just because he's tipping us but because he understands what culture means in a club. Think back 12-15 months ago and Collingwood who had issues with De Goey and Ginnivan as well as ongoing off field issues with racism. The club dealt with those things while the playing group kept its eyes on the ball and played the game the way it should be played.

    Concerned about culture? Think a club like North Melbourne with its many young players, the very talented player they just lost and the bloke who's coaching them. Good Lord!

    It does also make me wounder about the weird commercial media landscape we now live in, when some of the only decent reporting comesย courtesy of an American sports channel / news outlet.

    Heโ€™s a proper journalist. Like Greg Baum. Theyโ€™re on the margins of mainstream sports journalism now, but only because they refuse to be part of the click-bait garbage media that gives brainless ex-footballers prime air and print time. Needless to say the Herald-Sun wonโ€™t be knocking on Rohan Connollyโ€™s door.ย

    Boy some people are quick ย to throw stones out of the ย Glasshouse .ย Give it 5 years to test for some one like DGoey Sticks and Stones ย with him, itโ€™s only Names with Clarko. ย TT different ย of course.

      The Casey Demons issued a strong statement to the remaining teams in the VFL race with a thumping 76-point victory in their Elimination Final against Williamstown. This was the sixth consecutive win for the Demons, who stormed into the finals from a long way back with scalps including two of the teams still in flag contention. Senior Coach Taylor Whitford would have been delighted with the manner in which his team opened its finals campaign with high impact after securing the lead early in the game when Jai Culley delivered a precise pass to a lead from Noah Yze, who scored his first of seven straight goals for the day.
