Yep Clang looks older than he is. Absolute ripper who likes to run hard from defence to create options.

Love it..

Looks like a good old fashion fullback who loves the hard stuff.

I'm not sure where DS is getting a lack of pace from with Jagga Smith, nor where others are seeing FOS as a good ball user. I don't get FOS though, so each to their own I guess.

Pretty sure that is Robert Harvey with heavy plastic surgery, in a final ploy to crack 400 games.

Jagga must work part time at Fritsch Electrical

If we draft Jagga, lure Keath out of retirement and employ Jones and Watts as assistant coaches, we'd almost have the original  band back together.

Does this mean we have to get Paul Kelly as midfield coach?

I see Deakin Pereira who trialled with us a few years ago but accepted a US basketball scholarship is back playing basket ball in the Melbourne Basketball Leauge.

Not a skinny kid anymore. Stacked the muscle on.

I'm hoping we can pick up Clancy with our third pick, if we do end up taking one. He is rated around the top 50 mark in the HS. But I feel he could be a really good player in time and with a couple of years of development he could be ready to take over May's position. An All Australian CHB in the under 18's, he would be a steal at pick 50+.

Here's what the HS said about him:

The All-Australian centre-half-back from the national championships can get the job done down back in multiple ways.

A promising tall defender who can contain dangerous key forwards, Dennis was named at centre-half back in the All-Australian team after a strong under-18 national championships campaign for Western Australia in the middle of the year. He finished as the tournament’s No.1 player for intercept marks, averaging 2.3 a game along with 11.3 disposals and 2.3 spoils. Dennis was his state’s best player in its final match against Vic Country, recording 14 disposals, five marks (four intercepts) and two spoils that day. He is an ultra-competitive type who is rarely beaten one-on-one and has good composure with ball in hand. Dennis played a key role in helping Claremont’s Colts side secure the premiership in the WAFL in September, logging 14 disposals, 10 intercept possessions and five spoils in the Grand Final victory over Swan Districts. However, he sat out testing at the draft combine in October due to a sore foot which he sustained during that Grand Final.

2024 WAFL Colts83 ranking points, 15.9 disposals, 6.2 marks, 1.4 intercept marks, 4.4 rebound 50s, 3.4 spoils, 1.0 tackles (10 games) 2024 National Champs68 ranking points, 11.3 disposals, 5.3 marks, 2.3 intercept marks, 3.5 rebound 50s, 2.3 spoils, 1.5 tackles (4 games)

@58er”Would love to give JT a free throw at the stumps in a Round 4,5 or 6 for a genuine diamond in the rough!! “

I agree. With picks being used in all the father son and academies picks, we might see the last round being again around 60-65.  That’s where I’d like to see the Dees give an opportunity to at least one more youngster (as well as to 5&9).  There’s talent right through this draft. Here’s 10 late draft pick options

Will Hayes. Mid. Claremont.
Gabriel Stumpf  CHF . Northern
Patrick Retschko. Hbf/mid. Oakleigh
Oliver Depaoli-Kubank. Running mid. Tassie.
Noah Mraz. CHB. Dandenong.
Luke Kennedy . Mid. Sandringham
Cody Angove. Running mid. WA Claremont
Kade Herbert. Mid/hff. SA WWT eagles
Oliver Warburton. Hbf. Murray
Jett Hasting. Hbf. SA WWT eagles

mraz would be interesting

Nothing too concrete to come out of that but few little tid-bits.

- Dees have a level of interest in Tauru (as do most in the top 10) and also Armstrong

- Cal believes our pick 5 will most likely come from the midfield group of Lalor, O'Sullivan, Draper, Langford and Smith.

- Adelaide pick 4 likely to be chosen from Draper and Langford with both also in the mix for Carltons pick

- Pick 9 Cal named Travaglia and Allan "among others" in that range for our pick.

- Armstrong may get some interest from tigers at pick 6 but also Saints at 7 & 8.

- Travaglia is a wanted commodity among clubs in the 8 - 14 range.

- North still looking for trading partners for pick 2 but seems unlikely at this stage. Cal says North continues to be linked to Tauru but questioned whether it's too early for him at this point and they may go a mid. Sounded more opinion than mail there.

- 6 certainties for the top 10: Lalor, Aschroft, O'Sullivan, Langford, Draper, Smith

- likely for top 10: Smillie and Tauru

- possibles for top 10: Lombard, Kako, Reid, Allan, Travaglia

Other thing he said that caught my attention was that the thinking is that Richmond will take midfielders with their first two picks and go for talls later. Could mean one of Tauru or Armstrong gets to pick 9 if North don’t grab one at 2

Interesting that Armstrong wasn't in Cal's 13 top 10 possibles.

Noticed that too, could be just him forgetting to list him as he previously mentioned clubs are considering him inside 10.

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session.
