AFL tribunal caved in to media pressure to clear Maynard. Shows the power of propaganda.

That is not true, they have an AFL hub up at Cavanbah.

Perhaps you feel that way because of the Gold Coast link and area,

Byron wear magpie jumpers so I made the decision not to support them when I found that out earlier this year.

Gerard Whateley interviewing Toby Greene tonight on 360:

Whateley: So Toby, let’s start with the Maynard case. Did you have empathy for him throughout the week, with all the scrutiny he had to put up with.

Greene: No.

Toby Greene has just gone up a Millenium in my opinion!😁

Get over guys…I am angered, but we have a game of football to win. MFC, if they are fair dinkum, will channel the aggression on Friday night and win. I’d be happy to win and get a few suspensions, just to make a point. Practice the flying smother bumps this week

You know what always works? Telling people to calm down or get over it. 10 times out of 10 everyone does just that.

However frustrated you and I feel, wishing physical harm on a player is not called for.

Reverse the roles an imagine what you would say if other teams wished harm on one of our players.

How about letting people vent ffs?!?!

Wishing ill on an opposition player is quite natural when you’re a passionate af supporter and your team’s just been screwed over in such a way. I’m wishing ill on the whole [censored] Collingwood team right now. I’m sure I’m not alone.

Suspect we'll see some rule changes next season.

I wonder...

To do so would be to admit error.

Might open a very big can of worms.

AFL might have tripped up.

There will be many a party  gobsmacked and seething.

My true wish is that these Turkies get sued in later years for failing to stop acts like this with non decisions.

Where is the deterrent?

Talk about precedence.

The sad thing is, most of expected this. Shows how flawed it all is.

Thanks for the insights guys.

Let's just dream of winning 8 more quarters and then.....

Good night. Kiss your loved ones.

There are plenty of teams to play for in the adapted game, of 9 on 9.

Not to mention that since Friday all I’ve read is Collingwood fans wishing injury to Gus and his entire family.
But hey Collingwood can do whatever they want.

Does anyone know the deadline for when the AFL can appeal?

Yeah that was the biggest dog act. I will never forgive or forget that one either. If I ever see Michael Long in the street I will remind him that he is and always will be a gutless sniper.

This is Cripps 2.0

How did that work out for Carlton?

I have faith in karma.

Collingwood to lose the prelim

Tricky eh

Alstonville Saints

Ballina Bombers. Nope.

I won’t have my kids playing the game though, I’m done

Martin will wish his case went first and I would have expected Carlton to have agitated for this .Sadly and completely unjustly he will be offered to the public by the AFL as the sacrifice for Maynard decision.Martin  now does not have a chance and is not playing Friday night.

Are you fair dinkum? Did he say that?

"I make absolutely no apologies for the fact that this has taken nearly three hours.

A footballer was concussed and stretchered from the MCG in a final, another footballer has got a couple of pretty important games he’ll either play in or miss depending in part on what we decide tonight."

I went up to Southport to see Casey play instead.

Remember when Brent Moloney got suspended because the other bloke fell over and got concussed but Moloney didn't even may contact with him. What a farce

I understand your sentiment, I found the area to have a very diverse cultural mix. Get stuck in one group and it is like the others don't exist.

That area has it all, up to you to look.

Has anyone on here read the findings. This line.

Brayshaw could’ve executed his kick in a different direction or in a different manner, landed in a different manner or in a slightly different location.

  • REPORT: Richmond

The fans who turned up to the MCG for Melbourne’s Anzac Day Eve clash against Richmond would have been disappointed if they turned up to see a great spectacle. As much as this was a night for the 71,635 in attendance to commemorate heroes of the nation’s past wars, it was also a time for the Melbourne Football Club to consolidate upon its first win after a horrific start to the 2025 season. On this basis, despite the fact that it was an uninspiring and dour struggle for most of its 100 minutes, the night will be one for the fans to remember. They certainly got value out of the pre match activity honouring those who fought for their country. The MCG and the lights of the city as backdrop was made for nights such as these and, in my view, we received a more inspirational ceremony of Anzac culture than others both here and elsewhere around the country.

  • CASEY: Richmond

The match up of teams competing in our great Aussie game at its second highest level is a rarity for a work day Thursday morning but the blustery conditions that met the players at a windswept Casey Fields was something far more commonplace. They turned the opening stanza between the Casey Demons and a somewhat depleted Richmond VFL into a mess of fumbling unforced errors, spilt marks and wasted opportunities for both sides but they did set up a significant win for the home team which is exactly what transpired on this Anzac Day round opener. Casey opened up strong against the breeze with the first goal to Aidan Johnson, the Tigers quickly responded and the game degenerated into a defensive slog and the teams were level when the first siren sounded.
