Seen enough of fritsch too.

Time to sub him out

Looks bruise free to me. I like it

Wouldn’t matter if we did finals-wise, but gotta go in with good form.

How often after we struggle to manage to kick a goal, we seemingly allow one straight after? Talk about momentum killer.

wanna see some effort going into a two week break prior finals

Great to have fritsch back. Safe as house kicking for goal

How’s that a free kick to Fritta when Kozzie had the same amount of time?

Bailey.....where have you been !

Fantastic work

Sydney mates are losing it at the free. I told them they can’t ever complain about dodgy umpiring ever again since it got them into finals.

Yep, we know he hasn’t lost his touch. Time to sub and not risk him 😝.

Would at least give Bill some good game time to work into it a bit.

  • PREVIEW: Essendon

Not long ago, the narrative surrounding Melbourne was steeped in pessimism. There was some concern among the pundits (and even some fans) that the club would arrive at the AFL’s Gather Round still winless, vulnerable to a familiar adversary in the Essendon Football Club, and facing significant scrutiny from an ever-critical media on a national stage. Things have changed.

  • REPORT: Gold Coast

Steven King astutely identified the issues that had plagued the Melbourne Football Club over the past two and a half seasons when he auditioned for the newly created coaching role. The side that had claimed the 2021 premiership had become stodgy, slow-paced, and hesitant to take the initiative.
