Essendon haven’t improved.. Langford has improved.. but Essendon are still soft and insipid

Wouldn't mind Merritt at the Dees

Peptides might wanna take the safety belt off

Dodoro will re-sign Tippa for another year at this rate

Essendrug have checked out, this is just dull to watch

The Filth would prefer a tough game

Did the AFL actually schedule this blockbuster, Friday night footy contest, not too long ago.

This game needs a kill switch

Am I the only person watching tonight for pretty much the sole reason of hoping Essendon finishes their season with more humiliation?

Maybe some unhinged rough tantrum football from Essendon late in the game to give Collingwood a few suspensions for finals would be good, too.

You’d be happy then Goffy?

Ess have put zero pressure on the pies, letting them run and carry at will, clean and fast. As a result they look far better than they actually are.

When we beat the pies, the pressure put on them was enormous, they fumbled, poor disposal and heaps of frustration.

That's what we have to bring again in two weeks time

I'm bored

I switched off at half time.
Dogs on TikTok instead.
10/10 recommend.

Must be the same goal umpire from the Carlton game.

This.

As soon as the bombers put some effort into pressuring the pies they crumbled and just booted the ball.
I’ve said it all season, you put pressure on the pies and if you’re fit enough to do it nearly all game you’ll win. We kick straight that game and we win convincingly.

Yes BT 1989....

Melbourne played Collingwood in a final in 1989 the last time

You probably played in the game.

Nothing to great from what I've seen from the pies tonight. They have a few out but gee they have a fair few what I'd call average players

Tippa's been a witch's hat tonight

He'll get a Joe the goose to celebrate, no doubt

Joe the Goose?

When Essendon applied 12 minutes of pressure in the second half the Pies looked bog ordinary.
They would want Moore back and in good shape in finals.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
