Well theirs a small chance for top spot and we need the Cat to beat the Pies next week. Maybe I just take second spot.

I can’t barrack for Geelong twice. It’s over. I’m done.

I’m still worried about the Swans

They have conceded 63 inside 50s so far against a side that conceded 73 inside 50s to us.  All you need to be worried about is us kicking 6.25.

Smells like 2021 in here

Hope it’s not that Covid smell.

Cats were pretty awful. They’ll lose next week and I think the Dogs will get them in round 24.

I don't watch Tom Stewart much because I try to avoid watching Geelong, but damn he's a good defender.

Only player I can stomach in that team

In the end we needed the result, but I am probably more fortunate that I detest both teams.

Told a Collingwood mad workmate a couple weeks ago the Demons are eyeing off 2nd spot.
He poo poo'ed me.
I told him this week it'll be a Melbourne/Carlton GF.
Looking forward to talking some footy with him Monday 😂

Same here - I’ve got an insufferable filth supporting colleague.

I like to remind them that they’re paying half of Grundy’s wage - and next week it’ll be along the lines of ‘no Daicos, no Collingwood’.

Couple of big and clear dissenting decisions by GWS, just ignored by the umpires

Apparently yelling ‘what the F..K’  directly at an umpire is not covered by the descent rule.

Swans winning basically guarantees that rnd 24 for them will be an elimination final. Won’t be easy to knock them off.

And just like that…..current flag odds Collingwood 3.25, Melbourne 3.75

Especially at that dreaded ground!

Funnily enough I recently found myself talking to the HR dept cause I asked that exact question of a sensitive fellow worker.
They called it abuse whereas I disagreed.

Just watched the filth (pies) and they were were so totally done. Is it possible damn that they have been loading this late I the season. 😢

I hip and shouldered a couple people that annoyed me. Straight to HR.

Unreal.

  • REPORT: Carlton

I am now certain that the decline in fortunes of the Melbourne Football Club from a premiership power with the potential for more success to come in the future, started when the team ran out for their Round 9 match up against Carlton last year. After knocking over the Cats in a fierce contest the week before, the Demons looked uninterested at the start of play and gave the Blues a six goal start. They recovered to almost snatch victory but lost narrowly with a score of 11.10.76 to 12.5.77. Yesterday, they revisited the scene and provided their fans with a similar display of ineptitude early in the proceedings. Their attitude at the start was poor, given that the game was so winnable. Unsurprisingly, the resulting score was almost identical to that of last year and for the fourth time in succession, the club has lost a game against Carlton despite having more scoring opportunities.

  • CASEY: Carlton

The Casey Demons smashed the Carlton Reserves off the park at Casey Fields on Sunday to retain a hold on an end of season wild card place. It was a comprehensive 108 point victory in which the home side was dominant and several of its players stood out but, in spite of the positivity of such a display, we need to place an asterisk over the outcome which saw a net 100 point advantage to the combined scores in the two contests between Demons and Blues over the weekend.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.
