Tackling is a lucky dip these days. Thatโ€™s a shame really.

Worse than a lucky dip @Dee Zephyr. With Christian running the show, it's Russian roulette.

Is it just me or do the Saints supporters sound bloody loud on the TV? Thought theyโ€™d only have about 15-20k there.

ย

Having โ€˜nam flashbacks to round 10 vs Port where we sat in the nonstop ย driving rain, freezing our arzes off and forgetting all thatโ€™s good and holy in the world. Thinking things couldnโ€™t possibly get any worse. Then losing the game and having to hotfoot it back to the hotel ensconced in a throng of belligerent drunk Port supporters.ย

Good times

Umps willing the Saints to win. Disgraceful.

Saints woke up to Richmonds wet weather game plan, which amounts to โ€˜kick it off the groundโ€™. Tigers need to get some cleaner ball to stay in it.

Riewoldt is in slow motion tonight.

Heโ€™s always been slow, the wet weather just makes it bleedingly obvious

This type of weather reminds me of the following saying ....

ย

"The early bird catches the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese".

Some mind boggling decisions in favour of St K.ย

Great goal Taranto, Tigers are home now.

  • REPORT: North Melbourne

Itโ€™s late February. Two teams widely predicted to finish near the foot of the AFL table in 2026 face off against each other in sweltering 30-degree heat deep in outer suburbia in a match simulation with fresh new faces and uneven team numbers. There are no nearby sheep stations on offer; the result promises nothing more than bragging rights for the winner. Nevertheless, the loser appears hopelessly adrift, whereas the other seems to have found its footing after a couple of years of struggle โ€“ perhaps a hint at bigger things to come?

  • POSTGAME: North Melbourne

It was only a preseason match but the new look Demons spearheaded by new coach Steven King looked impressive as they put on a clinic against perennial cellar-dwellers North Melbourne as they cruised to an 80 point victory at Casey Fields.
