Is it just me or is anyone else having problems with Kayo loading tonight?

It’s a terrible product. Only works half the time.

Can someone please tell me why are the Richmond supporters booing Stewart?

Is Richmond good or Geelong bad? I know the Tigers played well against us, but they look as good as they did Anzac Eve.

puddy tatts are missing 10 of the premiership 23 and this is the first time they've played without either one of dangerfield or selwood since they recruited the former

cos he absolutely poleaxed prestia last year and got four weeks

based on the jvr judgement would have been 6+ if he was an mfc player

Live ladder is a double whammy/ winner for us. Top 5 pick and 4 points (one game in hand against the Dorks) ahead of Gheelong

love it

Doesn't it warm the heart to see a half empty Optus Stadium.

So we want both GC and Richmond to win tonight right?

As much as we don't like GC this week, if only for the sake of Freos death ride.

Jermaine Jones has got the lead for worst haircut in the AFL.

Remember when umpire dissent was a rule? That was a fun 6 weeks.

These two teams (Geelong, Richmond) have players that appear to "dissent" all the time. If they crossed the line, umpire's would call it.

It may be to get the supporters going, which in turn can influence the umpires.

It could also be cognitive dissonance.

Cats have C. Guthrie, Danger, Stanley, Stengle, Close, De Koning and others out.

balta reminds me quite a bit of frost - yr never quite sure what he's going to do

He is probably Richmond’s best tonight IMO

Hawkins early but after q1 balta

I must say I haven’t had any significant problems until tonight so it may be me

Carlton get away with dissent even more than these two teams with the 2022 *Downlow medalist being among the worst

Exactly Jezza dissent doesn’t get umpire action

umpiring inconsistency

yep, but it's still a mystery as to what he's going to do with it once he gets it

The umps sure don't like Richmond. Can't blame them i suppose. I don't like Richmond much either.

the Cats have named their worst midfield for 20 years.

aside from Duncan who’s going to win the ball?

Taranto will go nuts. if Tigers can kick a decent score they can win this

Cats are 2-2 at the G.

Am i convincing anyone?!?

Great call, I watched the tigers the last 2 weeks and didn’t see this coming. They haven’t been great but they came in with a plan and are executing it well. Still time for Geelong but unlikely based on how they’re playing.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Gold Coast

On Friday, the Demons return to our Casey Fields fortress where they have a 77% win rate. The scent of September is in the air and the struggling Suns are on the horizon. The Cranbourne weather forecast? Ominous, like the match itself: a strong chance of carnage. Let’s be honest, last week’s first half against the West Coast was a training drill but we dropped our guard in the final quarter. While this match is a mismatch on paper — second versus seventeenth — football is won in the wind, the contests, and the moments.

  • 2025 Player Reviews: #32 Tom Sparrow

The rugged Sparrow’s career appears to have plateaued in recent years. He makes the side on a week to week basis but he is unable to establish a foothold in the team’s midfield and arguably performs best outside of the contest in a forward position without being a goal kicker. He remains a good honest foot soldier but is not a star.

  • 2025 Player Reviews: #33 Tom Fullarton

Fullarton managed a couple of games in the first half of the season but soon found himself back in the VFL. There, he found a niche at centre half back but it was not enough to retain a place on the list at season’s end.

  • 2025 Player Reviews: #35 Harrison Petty

Entering 2025, it looked as if Petty would be secured in a defensive position, but plans shifted and he spent more time forward, averaging just over a goal per game throughout the season. It remains uncertain which area of the ground he will be expected to cover under the new coaching regime.

  • 2025 Player Reviews: #36 Kysaiah Pickett

The dynamic small forward, possessing an innate ability to generate excitement with his explosive play around the goals, successfully transitioned into a role that afforded him more time in the midfield. The club also negotiated a long-term deal with Pickett, thereby eliminating any prospect of a move west by their star young player.

  • 2025 Player Reviews: #37 Kade Chandler

For a few years now, he has been a reliable, hard working pressure forward, but in 2025, Chandler elevated his performance, becoming an integral component of the team with enough versatility to play effectively on a wing from time to time.
