May? Salem? I thought they’d be declared fit

May was a late out. Salem was coming via the VFL, but has a slight meniscus tear so he's out for a bit longer now.

I’m nervous. Not going to lie.
Brisbane are a hell of a lot better than they showed last week. They are also a much much better team than the Dogs.

Yeah same. The thought of both Geelong and Brisbane being 0-2 seems unlikely.

And yet I think we’re going to win, haha. Cognitive Dissonance is a hellava thing.

If we are as good as we think we are, we win this in a canter.

PS ... I've gutted my Sportsbet account on this game

Me also uncle, i think we are a chance over 40.

GO THE MIGHTY DEES!

Here we go! Time to make some amends for last year, on the way to claiming the ultimate prize this year!

Let’s go Dees 😍

Tmac rarely misses.

Early goal for confidence.

  • POSTGAME: Collingwood

Despite effectively playing against four extra opponents, the Dees controlled much of the match. However, their inaccuracy in front of goal and inability to convert dominance in clearances and inside 50s ultimately cost them dearly, falling to a heartbreaking one-point loss on King’s Birthday.

  • CASEY: Collingwood

It was freezing cold at Mission Whitten Stadium where only the brave came out in the rain to watch a game that turned out to be as miserable as the weather.
The Casey Demons secured their third consecutive victory, earning the four premiership points and credit for defeating a highly regarded Collingwood side, but achieved little else. Apart perhaps from setting the scene for Monday’s big game at the MCG and the Ice Challenge that precedes it.
Neither team showcased significant skill in the bleak and greasy conditions, at a location that was far from either’s home territory. Even the field umpires forgot where they were and experienced a challenging evening, but no further comment is necessary.
