Welcome to the big leagues.

An excellent education for the young guy provided Dustbin doesn’t do too much damage

Interesting to hear comments on structure

Sounds as though they are resting Gawn/Grundy up forward rather than on the bench.

How is the Brown and the resting ruckman working out. Last season Gawn was excellent early season at protecting Brown's run for the mark

Brown all at sea - like Sampson after his haircut.

I am unsure how much effort the Tiges are potting up at times, but our system between wing and inside F50 is looking as good as it has ever in Goodwin's time as coach.

Nibbler, Sparrow, Harmes and Spargo are all showing serious gut running.

Surely the Tiges are not this rubbish?

Our backline is epic.

You know what I've noticed today. We aren't just bombing it in our forward line or into the pocket. We are lowering the eyes & passing it lace out to a leading forward.

Slamming players into the turf after a mark in a practice game. Lovely Richmond 🙄

Gawn’s goal kicking is a genuine 20/80 😂

Honestly you never know what's going to happen when Gawn goes for goal. I just see it as a bonus when he kicks them

How many shots between gawn and Grundy? Have to be 10 nearly

Richmond are potential ‘Premiership Contenders’ according to Gerard Healy. I think he has said that at least 3 times on Foxtel during this match. What is he smoking? 🤣

Definitely more measured with the ball movement.

What's with all the repeat posts?

Good to see we have allowed Richmond to have two membership vans at our home game, at our home facility. No signage for us. But hey, none of that matters apparently

There’s a demon shop next to the Richmond shop?

lines here are massive tho, lots of cash left on the table for beer and food sales

How was that a Gawn 3rd goal? I though spargo kicked it into the post?

I  quite often get repeat posts in a game day thread but today is another level.

Still when you're winning I quite like reading things 2 or 3 times

anyone catch Van Rooyen’s game earlier? Couldn’t have been any worse than BBB so far..?

If Fritta is out, why wouldn't they play him?

  • CASEY: Essendon

Casey’s unbeaten run was extended for at least another fortnight after the Demons overran a persistent Essendon line up by 29 points at ETU Stadium in Port Melbourne last night. After conceding the first goal of the evening, Casey went on a scoring spree from about ten minutes in, with five unanswered majors with its fleet of midsized runners headed by the much improved Paddy Cross who kicked two in quick succession and livewire Ricky Mentha who also kicked an early goal. Leading the charge was recruit of the year, Riley Bonner while Bailey Laurie continued his impressive vein of form. With Tom Campbell missing from the lineup, Will Verrall stepped up to the plate demonstrating his improvement under the veteran ruckman’s tutelage. The Demons were looking comfortable for much of the second quarter and held a 25-point lead until the Bombers struck back with two goals in the shadows of half time. On the other side of the main break their revival continued with first three goals of the half. Harry Sharp, who had been quiet scrambled in the Demons’ first score of the third term to bring the margin back to a single point at the 17 minute mark and the game became an arm-wrestle for the remainder of the quarter and into the final moments of the last.
