5 goals up with 11 in the third, if the umps start paying frees against Freo they will lose by 60.
Tigers playing well.

Giddy up.

I’m getting as angry as if this was a Dees game. 16-3 now and they are getting worse. One ump already caught for betting on games. 100% one or all four have money riding on this game.

19pts 3/4 time. Tiges have been the much better team, but they must be feeling it, they have been up against it all night. Win or lose they should absolutely publicly ask for an inquiry into the officiating.

Score level... between Liam Baker and the whole of Fremantle on the free kick count!

5 minutes left to find out if this thread is fun again!

Thank you tiges for breathing some life back into this thread.

Hopefully Freo's mini revival is over and we can all start enjoying our death riding again.

Freo next few games

GWS away  (50/50)

Essendon at home (50/50)

Dogs away (loss)

Carlton at home (win)

Pies away (lol)

We could be back in a good draft spot

Really encouraging that almost all of Freo's big names had good games but they still lost.

I like them, overall, I really do. It is just on hold until roughly October.

They could easily win 4 of those, but hopefully lose the lot.

You beat me to my edit.

Keep saying it, their draw is hard. And they're inconsistent.

The next four weeks will be tough for them imo. Especially without Darcy.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
