Cripps should have been rubbed out but he a great player and would love him in our midfield. Clayton at a clear disadvantage he has great mid fielders taking votes off him. It tough on Clarry

Cripps is a good player no doubt. But he didn’t deserve to even be eligible. He concussed a guy who then sat out multiple weeks. If his name is Chandler he cops 4 weeks. Instead he goes on to win the Brownlow. So much for the AFL protecting the head.

Round 23. Brisbane absolutely smashed.

3 to either Oliver or Petracca

1 to either Brayshaw , Jackson or Kozzzy

but no way to Neale

wtf

Oliver was clearly BOG that day he was possessed,

Cripps: 'I'd rather get 0 touches and win'

He'd still get the bloody three votes though

I have no explanation for it along with Touk Miller's votes against the ferals in a 10 goal loss, it defies any sort of sporting logic.

Don’t watch it and haven’t done so for 15 years.

So are they going to retrospectively give Corey McKernan and Chris Grant their medals now?

Didnt a player get votes one year when he went off in the 1st quarter one year.

Cripps said loyalty is important & stayed at Carlton and loves playing with his mates  vs Jackson motivation???

Absolute joke of an award. Sydney win by 28 points against I cant remember but other mob get all three votes! Just one of many joke votes.

At least those who know football know who was the standout this year.

You cannot tell me that we win 16 games and our best player is only BOG in 4 of them.

Absolutely BS

To be fair, Tracc scored very highly as well. Probably becomes hard for umpires to choose between them. I'm just happy with those two having an outstanding year

I wouldn't have begrudged Cripps a brownlow in his career but this season didn't seem right. Thought he dropped off a bit and the non suspension sucked

Sorry Mr Oliver you only got the 35 touches today that's way down on your normal game total.

Topped the club vote by the look of it.  Think we just pipped Geelong by a couple. Clarry polled in 12 games but not enough best ons unfortunately.

It wouldn't suprise me, nothing does anymore.

You know what I'm proud to have trac and Oliver in my team. They can take votes off each other for years to come because they help us become a successful team

I could be wrong but by my calculations in 2022....A sub got 1 vote and another player who did an ACL in the second quarter also got 2 votes....don't even get me started. I'm out!

Ah Chee and Neale don't approve. So glad Carlton missed finals again.

There's no way this brownlow was above board, there's just no way. Please start the investigation now, we'll stay with this all night if we have to.

Cripps did speak well. Id never have picked him to have a fear of speaking & it's good he got help for it.

I'm really not fussed he won it. I'm still surprised Neale got a vote against us in the final round

Agreed. The overturning of his suspension led him to get those final 3 votes

  • PREVIEW: Collingwood

Way back in March we contemplated the possibility of a Demon resurgence after Simon Goodwin’s summer of love. Many issues at the club had seemingly been addressed, key players were returning from injury and a brand new day was about to dawn. We imagined the coach pulling a rabbit out of a hat. The team would roar up the charts, push aside every opponent and make its way to a Grand Final ending in ultimate triumph with Goody and Max holding the premiership cup aloft under a shower of red and blue ticker tape.

  • AFLW REPORT: Western Bulldogs

We’re back! That was fun. The Mighty Dees’ Season 10 campaign is off toa flying start with a commanding 48-point winover the Western Bulldogs, retaining the Hampson-Hardeman Cup in style. After a hard-fought first half in slippery conditions, the Dees came out in the second half and showcased their trademark superior class, piling on four goals in the third termand never looked back.

  • REPORT: Hawthorn

The final score in Saturday's game against Hawthorn was almost identical to that from their last contest three months ago. Melbourne suffered comprehensive defeats in both games, but the similarities ended there. When they met in Round 9, the Demons were resurgent, seeking to redeem themselves after a lacklustre start to the season. They approached the game with vigour and dynamism, and were highly competitive for the first three quarters, during which they were at least on par with the Hawks. In the final term, they lapsed into error and were ultimately overrun, but the final result did not accurately reflect their effort and commitment throughout the match.

  • CASEY: Box Hill

The Casey Demons ended the regular season on a positive note and gained substantial momentum leading into the finals when they knocked the Box Hill Hawks off the top of the VFL ladder in their final round clash at Casey Fields. More importantly, they moved out of a wild card position in the finals race and secured a week's rest as they leapfrogged up the ladder into fifth place with their decisive 23-point victory over the team that had been the dominant force in the competition for most of the season.
